Doch inzwischen haben sich AIOs zum Standard entwickelt, der immer bezahlbarer wird und dank der recht hohen Leistung, der cleanen Optik und der guten Erreichbarkeit der Mainboard-Komponenten weit verbreitet ist. Zur Montage haben auch die meisten aktuellen Geh\u00e4use Platz f\u00fcr die dazugeh\u00f6rigen Radiatoren. Das ist allerdings kein Wunder, wenn der Radiator schon eine L\u00e4nge von rund 40 cm hat. Vom Aufbau her ist die Verpackung \u00e4hnlich dem DeepCool AK620 in einem neueren, ernsthaften Design gehalten. Um einen braunen Karton ist ein Papprahmen mit einem Produktaufdruck gesteckt. Einmal ge\u00f6ffnet findet man einen Einschub mit dem Radiator, der mit zwei Schl\u00e4uchen mit der Pumpeneinheit verbunden ist. Alles ist fein s\u00e4uberlich in Plastikt\u00fcten gewickelt \u2013 Anschl\u00fcsse f\u00fcr die unterschiedlichen Sockel, die Kabel, die Schrauben, der Radiator, die Pumpeneinheit, jeder L\u00fcfter. So viele T\u00fcten w\u00e4ren nicht unbedingt n\u00f6tig gewesen. Immerhin die Umverpackung verzichtet auf gro\u00dfe Schaumstoffteile. Der Einschub ist aus recht weicher Pappe im Stile eines Eierkartons. Insgesamt geht die Verarbeitung in Ordnung \u2013 ein Gef\u00fchl von Premium-L\u00fcftern kommt nicht auf. Ein nettes Detail sind die gummierten Ecken, die Vibrationsger\u00e4usche d\u00e4mpfen, allerdings schwer von Staub zu befreien sind, was den optischen Eindruck etwas d\u00e4mpfen kann. So k\u00f6nnen sie eine L\u00fcfterkette bilden, die nur mit einem Kabel angesteuert werden muss, was den Kabelsalat deutlich reduzieren soll, denn \u00fcblicherweise muss man pro RGB-L\u00fcfter je zwei Kabel an entsprechende Anschl\u00fcsse bringen.<\/p>\n<p>Moment \u2013 nur ein Kabel f\u00fcr RGB und L\u00fcftersteuerung an den DeepCool-L\u00fcftern? Ja, das sind nat\u00fcrlich propriet\u00e4re Stecker. Im Lieferumfang befindet sich f\u00fcr diese Stecker auch ein Verl\u00e4ngerungskabel und ein Adapter auf regul\u00e4re ARGB-Stecker und einen PWM-L\u00fcfteranschluss. Eines ist immer gleich: Zun\u00e4chst muss man die Halterungen an die Pumpeneinheit anschrauben. Hier gibt es unterschiedliche Halterungen f\u00fcr die unterschiedlichen Sockel und man kann diese entsprechend je nach gew\u00fcnschter Ausrichtung anbringen, damit die Pumpeneinheit gedreht ist, wie man es m\u00f6chte. DeepCool empfiehlt allerdings, die Schl\u00e4uche nach unten vom Prozessor abgehen zu lassen, um die beste Hitze\u00fcbertragung und somit die niedrigsten Temperaturen zu erreichen.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"radiator-und-luefter\"><\/span>Radiator und L\u00fcfter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Nun sollten \u2013 je nach Geh\u00e4use und geplanter Radiatorposition \u2013 die L\u00fcfter am Radiator verschraubt werden, wof\u00fcr die langen Schrauben dabei sind, die komplett durch die L\u00fcfter mit deren gummiisolierten Ecken gehen; anschlie\u00dfend kann der Radiator mit kleineren Schrauben am Geh\u00e4use befestigt werden. Alternativ geht man mit den langen Schrauben zun\u00e4chst durch die L\u00fcfter, dann durch entsprechende \u00d6ffnungen am Geh\u00e4use und anschlie\u00dfend in den Radiator. Erstere Variante ist \u00fcblich f\u00fcr die Befestigung oben im Geh\u00e4use, zweitere Variante ist \u00fcblich f\u00fcr die Montage in der Geh\u00e4usefront. Im Fractal Design Pop XL bleibt nur die Montage in der Front. Immerhin sind die Schl\u00e4uche lang genug, um den Radiator-Ein- und Ausgang nach unten zu verlegen, was m\u00f6gliche \u201ePl\u00e4tscherger\u00e4usche\u201c gegen\u00fcber einer Schlauchplatzierung am oberen Ende des Radiators reduziert.<\/p>\n<p>Die L\u00fcfter werden nun in Reihe geschaltet. Hierbei ist der jeweilige Anschluss direkt neben der Stelle, an der auch das Kabel herauskommt. Da die Kabel nicht sichtbar sein sollten, sollte man beachten, dass diese aus dem Blickfeld gedreht auf dem Radiator verschraubt werden. Auch die Pumpeneinheit hat ein entsprechendes Kabel, das angeschlossen werden sollte. Das ist ein wenig tricky, denn sobald der Radiator verschraubt ist, kommt man kaum noch an die R\u00fcckseite. Ergo sollte man dies vorher machen. Dann aber bei der Befestigung der Pumpeneinheit gut darauf achten, wo das Kabel liegt, damit dieses nicht im Weg ist. Oder schlicht und einfach optisch st\u00f6rt. Damit kann man diese nicht vergessen und die Montage ist auch f\u00fcr Einsteiger leicht. Um den DeepCool LS720 sp\u00e4ter erneut zu verbauen \u2013 beispielsweise, wenn das System in ein neues Case umzieht, man den Prozessor aufr\u00fcstet oder wenn man den K\u00fchler in einem neuen System erneut zum Einsatz bringen will \u2013 muss man sich jedoch zus\u00e4tzliche W\u00e4rmeleitpaste in der Tube kaufen.<\/p>\n<p>Anschlie\u00dfend kann der Rest verkabelt werden. Die Pumpeneinheit hat nun nur noch einen freien 3-Pin-Stecker, der an den Pumpenheader auf dem Mainboard geh\u00f6rt. Falls ein solcher nicht verf\u00fcgbar ist, kommt er an einen regul\u00e4ren L\u00fcfteranschluss. Diesen sollte man im BIOS auf volle Leistung stellen, um einen korrekten Betrieb sicherzustellen.<\/p>\n<p>Nun wird das letzte freie Kabel eines L\u00fcfters mit dem entsprechenden Adapter verbunden, der die L\u00fcfter mit Strom via SATA, PWM-Signal \u00fcber das Mainboard und RGB-Signalen \u00fcber einen passenden Anschluss versorgt. Insgesamt eine wirklich cleane Sache. Im Vergleich dazu habe ich hier einen AORUS Liquid Cooler 360, welcher mit drei L\u00fcftern alleine sechs Anschl\u00fcsse hat, die einzeln irgendwo verkabelt werden m\u00fcssen, w\u00e4hrend aus der Pumpeneinheit s\u00e4mtliche Anschlusskabel herauskommen und verlegt werden m\u00fcssen. Das ist mit dem DeepCool LS720 doch weitaus angenehmer und sauberer. Was man von einem CPU-K\u00fchler erwartet, ist eine m\u00f6glichst gute K\u00fchlleistung. Mit einer gro\u00dfen Radiatorfl\u00e4che, wie am DeepCool LS720, hofft man dabei auf eine geringe Lautst\u00e4rke.<\/p>\n<p>Zum Testsystem: Der DeepCool LS720 wurde in die Front des Fractal Design Pop XL Air eingebaut. Dabei wurde die Pumpeneinheit entsprechend DeepCools Empfehlung ausgerichtet und auf einen AMD Ryzen 9 5950X gesetzt. Dieser ist so \u00fcbertaktet, dass er in Cinebench laut AMD Ryzen Master rund 140W an Leistung zieht. Die L\u00fcfter des DeepCool LS720 wurden auf drei Stufen getestet: Einmal auf Minimalstufe bei rund 465 Umdrehungen pro Minute, einmal auf etwa halber Maximaldrehzahl, also mit rund 1140 Umdrehungen pro Minute und einmal mit Vollleistung, was etwa 2200 Umdrehungen pro Minute sind. Jeweils wird Cinebench in Dauerschleife gestartet und nach etwa einer Viertelstunde Aufheizphase eine Minute die Durchschnittstemperatur gemessen. Selbst auf Minimaldrehzahl, auf der die L\u00fcfter kaum h\u00f6rbar sind, ist der LS720 nur minimal schw\u00e4cher als der AK620 auf voller Drehzahl, auf der dieser sehr deutlich h\u00f6rbar ist. Die L\u00fcfter des LS720 wirken kaum lauter als auf der Minimaldrehzahl, doch der Leistungssprung ist deutlich. Wenn man von einer Raumtemperatur um die 25\u00b0C ausgeht, landet man beim AK620 nur noch knapp unterhalb der 80\u00b0-Grenze. Das ist in Ordnung und unter der Grenze der Leistungsdrosselung, aber schon recht warm. Der LS720 knackt dabei nur knapp die 60\u00b0C. Und das unter Cinebench-Volllast und einer dauerhaften Leistungsaufnahme um die 140 Watt! Das ist ordentlich!<\/p>\n<p>Verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfig entt\u00e4uschend wirkt dagegen der Schritt auf die volle L\u00fcfterleistung am LS720. Hier erreichen die L\u00fcfter eine ziemlich hohe Lautst\u00e4rke und der praktische Temperaturgewinn ist nur noch minimal. Hier ist der Leistungsgewinn am AK620 gr\u00f6\u00dfer und die beiden L\u00fcfter sind leiser und durch die Lage mitten im Geh\u00e4use besser ged\u00e4mpft.<\/p>\n<p>Insgesamt ist die Leistung dem LS720 jedoch schon auf mittlerer Stufe so viel h\u00f6her als die vom AK620. Somit hat man hier mit einer Drehzahl um die 1100 bereits ein recht leises System. Wenn man nun eine L\u00fcfterautomatik so einstellt, dass sie im Idle-Betrieb bei unh\u00f6rbaren 25% PWM liegt und bei hoher Last auf maximal 60% nach oben geht, sollte man das optimale Verh\u00e4ltnis aus Lautst\u00e4rke und Leistung herausholen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Zur Lautst\u00e4rke noch ein kurzer Blick in Richtung Pumpe: Diese ist h\u00f6rbar. Das Design ist gut, die Lautst\u00e4rke im mittleren Drehzahlbereich der L\u00fcfter sehr gut und die Leistung h\u00e4lt auch sehr stromhungrige Prozessoren unter Kontrolle. Selbst als \u00fcberzeugter Luftk\u00fchler-Verfechter muss ich sagen: Hier gibt es keinen Luftk\u00fchler, der dem LS720 leistungsm\u00e4\u00dfig gewachsen ist.
