Am Mikrofon selbst befindet sich dabei kein Standardgewinde. Stattdessen ist am Sockel des Haltegestells ein weibliches 5\/8\u201c-Gewinde verbaut, mit dem man das SL40 an einem \u00fcblichen Stativ befestigen kann. Optisch pr\u00e4sentiert sich das SL40 dabei schlicht: Wie \u00fcblich setzt das Mikrofon auf eine Zylinderform, die seitlich als Verzierung durch zw\u00f6lf glatte Fl\u00e4chen angen\u00e4hert wird. Jeweils links und rechts am Geh\u00e4use ist dabei das wei\u00df aufgedruckte Herstellerlogo zu sehen.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e4mtliche Anbindungsm\u00f6glichkeiten des Mikrofons sind an der Unterseite untergebracht, an der sich der XLR-, der USB-C- und der Klinkenanschluss befinden. Die Bedienung erfolgt hingegen \u00fcber drei Taster an der Vorderseite: Mit diesen kann die Lautst\u00e4rke des Mikrofons und der verbauten Klinkenbuchse ver\u00e4ndert und das Mikrofon stumm geschaltet werden. Die grunds\u00e4tzliche Umsetzung gef\u00e4llt dabei: Das SL40 verbindet eine gute Aufnahmequalit\u00e4t mit einer hervorragenden Verarbeitung und einem sinnvollen und f\u00fcr den Preis \u00fcblichen Feature-Set. Ob der, je nach Sichtweise, zus\u00e4tzliche XLR- beziehungsweise USB-Anschluss dabei sinnvoll ist, bleibt jedem selbst \u00fcberlassen. Nat\u00fcrlich zahlt man den entsprechenden Anschluss und die dazugeh\u00f6rige Elektronik mit \u2013 das sollte beim Kauf bedacht werden.<\/p>\n<p>Damit geht es auch direkt zum kritischen Punkt: Dem Preis. Zumindest mit Ausnahme der verbauten Klinkenbuchse ist das Mikrofon zwar rundum solide, doch gibt es am Markt viel inzwischen viel Konkurrenz. Die besagte UVP von 100 Euro macht dem SL40 hier zu schaffen \u2013 doch gl\u00fccklicherweise ist diese ganz offensichtlich nicht in Stein gemei\u00dfelt.
