An der Unterseite in mehreren eingelassenen Streifen sowie an den seitlichen Abschr\u00e4gungen ist das Geh\u00e4use hingegen in Hochglanz gehalten. Im Betrieb ist davon aber kaum etwas zu sehen, denn die gesamte Oberseite der Tastatur wird von einer mattschwarzen Metallplatte bedeckt. Die einzige auff\u00e4llige Verzierung ist ein gr\u00fcn beleuchteter LED-Streifen, der sich an der Vorderseite des Ger\u00e4ts befindet und fast \u00fcber die gesamte Breite geht. Interessant ist zudem der f\u00fcr die Tasten eingesetzte Font, denn bei diesem werden alle geschlossenen Kreise durchbrochen. In manchen F\u00e4llen, wie beispielsweise beim \u201e&amp;\u201c-Zeichen, finden wir das etwas befremdlich. Dadurch halten sich diese Beschriftungen nat\u00fcrlich nicht an die Farbe der jeweiligen LEDs. Daf\u00fcr wird so aber das Problem der inhomogenen Beleuchtung umgangen.<\/p>\n<p>Mit Hinblick auf die Verarbeitungsqualit\u00e4t l\u00e4sst sich an der Speedlink Vela nichts bem\u00e4ngeln. Die Tastatur und die Tastenkappen haptisch angenehm und solide gebaut. Das Geh\u00e4use ist verwindungssteif, die Tasten sitzen fest und die Spaltma\u00dfe sind dem Preis vollkommen angemessen.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"praxis-ergonomie\"><\/span>Praxis &amp; Ergonomie<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Von Speedlink werden die in der Vela verbauten Taster zwar nicht offiziell angegeben, doch zumindest bei unserem Modell sind Blue-Switches von Jixian verbaut. Diese scheinen sich an den handels\u00fcblichen Cherry MX Blue zu orientieren: Das Tippgef\u00fchl ist grob vergleichbar, und auch das akustische Feedback beim Ausl\u00f6sen der Tasten ist verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfig hell. Ob die Switches im direkten Vergleich mit dem Original mithalten k\u00f6nnen sei dahingestellt, doch in jedem Fall ist das Tippgef\u00fchl dem aller handels\u00fcblichen Rubberdome-Tastaturen bei weitem \u00fcberlegen. Mit Hinblick auf die Praxis h\u00e4tten wir uns als einziges noch eine LED f\u00fcr die Rollen-Funktion gew\u00fcnscht, denn ob diese aktiv ist ist bei der Vela nicht ersichtlich.
