F\u00fcr euch haben wir uns das Top-Modell einmal genauer angesehen. Das JBL Quantum One, ein kabelgebundenes Headset mit einer UVP von 249 \u20ac. Nach einem Blick auf das Datenblatt des Quantum One sind die Erwartungen schon ziemlich hoch. Das One kommt an, man \u00f6ffnet den Deckel und denkt sich: &#8222;Wow, das ist mal ne ordentliche Pr\u00e4sentation&#8220;. Das Headset selbst ist in einer Plastikform verpackt, welche von dickem Karton ummantelt ist. Neben dem Headset liegt ein aufsteckbares Mikrofon bei, welches sich nach belieben entfernen l\u00e4sst. Auch enthalten ist ein g\u00e4ngiges Klinkenkabel, zur Verwendung an der Konsole. Ins Kabel integriert wurde ein Lautst\u00e4rken-R\u00e4dchen, sowie ein Schieberegeler zum Stummschalten des Mikrofons. Ebenfalls im Lieferumfang enthalten ist ein USB-C-auf-USB-A Kabel. Dieses Kabel ist zur Verwendung am PC gedacht, fast auf der H\u00e4lfte der Kabell\u00e4nge befindet sich eine Art Station, mit der die Game\/Chat-Balance geregelt werden kann. Und zu guter Letzt noch ein weiteres Mikrofon, welches der Kalibrierung des hauseigenen QuantumSPHERE Surround-Sound dienen soll. So l\u00e4sst sich der B\u00fcgel etwas verwinden und wirkt dabei keinesfalls gebrechlich. Die Schwachstelle am B\u00fcgel ist meistens die Gr\u00f6\u00dfenverstellung. Diese ist zwar von au\u00dfen aus Plastik, aber das tut der Stabilit\u00e4t absolut nichts schlechtes. Auch die Partie, an dem die einzelnen Ohrmuscheln gedreht und geneigt werden k\u00f6nnen, macht einen sehr hochwertigen und stabilen Eindruck. Der B\u00fcgel sowie ein Teil der Ohrmuscheln sind in anthrazit gehalten. Der beleuchtete Teil allerdings in einem sehr feinen Mattschwarz. Das Design ist gepr\u00e4gt von Linien, ob an der Oberseite des B\u00fcgels, der H\u00f6henverstellung oder am Geh\u00e4use der einzelnen Lautsprecher. Der vorletzte Knopf l\u00e4sst das Headtracking neu kalibrieren. Das funktioniert nur, wenn der Knopf gedr\u00fcckt gehalten wird. Dr\u00fcckt man ihn nur einmal kurz, auch wenn es nicht beabsichtigt war, ert\u00f6nt ein fieses Ger\u00e4usch, das f\u00fcr einen oft unerwarteten Schreck sorgt, den einem nicht mal der beste Horrorfilm einjagen kann. Der oberste Knopf aktiviert das Active Noise Cancelling.<\/p>\n<p>Einzig das Kabel ist uns negativ aufgefallen, es ist mit einem Geflechtmantel \u00fcberzogen. Das Geflecht ist in schwarz gehalten, mit orangenen Applikationen. Anfangs war das Kabel sehr starr und lie\u00df sich schlecht verwinden. Nach einiger Zeit ist es etwas weicher geworden. Nun aber zum Hauptproblem. Das Geflecht ist zwar sehr sch\u00f6n und wertig. Bei der Verwendung des Headsets reibt das Kabel aber an der Kleidung und das Ger\u00e4usch gelangt bis in die linke Kopfh\u00f6rerseite. Fast in der Mitte des Kabels befindet sich eine Station, mit der man je nach Bedarf die Lautst\u00e4rkenunterschiede zwischen Game und Chat regeln kann. An der Unterseite der Station ist ein Gummiring angebracht. Der Ring &#8222;krallt&#8220; sich quasi in euren Schreibtisch, dadurch bleibt die Station immer an Ort und Stelle. Leider ist der Ring aufgrund der klebrigen Oberfl\u00e4che sehr anf\u00e4llig f\u00fcr Staub.<\/p>\n<p>Das Boom-Mikrofon, wie JBL es nennt, l\u00e4sst sich bequem aufstecken und auch wieder entfernen. F\u00fcr das Aufstecken sind zwei L\u00f6cher bzw. am Mikrofon &#8222;Stifte&#8220; vorhanden. Ihr schlie\u00dft das Mikrofon an und steckt es zuerst ins linke Ohr. Dar\u00fcber setzt ihr dann das Headset auf und dr\u00fcckt auf weiter. Anschlie\u00dfend wird die Umgebungslautst\u00e4rke gemessen und ihr werdet gebeten euch in eine ruhige Umgebung zu begeben, ohne St\u00f6rger\u00e4usche. Ist das Programm mit der Lautst\u00e4rke zufrieden, beginnt es ein paar schrille T\u00f6ne abzuspielen, die der Kalibrierung dienen. Ist der Schritt abgeschlossen, wiederholt ihr den Vorgang f\u00fcr das rechte Ohr. Nachdem die Kalibrierung der rechten Seite ebenfalls abgeschlossen ist, k\u00f6nnt ihr das Headset entfernen und die QuantumENGINE berechnet das optimale Kalibrierprofil. Es l\u00e4sst sich \u00fcber die Software oder durch gedr\u00fcckt halten der vorletzten Taste aktivieren. Hat man es aktiviert, muss auch hier eine Kalibrierung vollzogen werden. Habt ihr das geschafft, werden aufgrund von Sensoren im Headset eure Kopfbewegungen nachvollzogen. Dreht ihr also euren Kopf beispielsweise nach rechts, wird das vom Programm erfasst und der Sound verlagert sich auf den linken Lautsprecher.
