Medal of Honor

Yes, Medal of Honor. Probably the best World War II FPS that's ever come out. I salute the makers of this game. But why am I posting about this? Well...Because I want to prove a point. You see, currently at M3, Barrage is in trouble for rushing into combat and causing some damage to a conveince store to get at the Robot Masters. Yes, perhaps I was wrong in doing this...But, what am I supposed to do? Stand outside until they come out? As it was, Barrage was attacked first. But that's not the point of this post. To beat this one extremely hard stage on Medal of Honor: Frontline, I had been trying to hang back and snipe the Nazis. Snipe them while planning how to take out the Panzer IV I knew was around the corner. I had to have played this mission a dozen times, at least. Then finally, I got fed up. I thought 'Well, what would Barrage do in this situation? All the other memebrs of my squad are dead. That tank got 'em. So how am I going to handle this?' Then it hit me...She wouldn't think. She'd just ask. So I acted. I rushed forward into the heat of battle, shotgun blazing, grabed hold of one of the Nazi's own machinegun nests, and cut down those bastards with a hail of gunfire. Even took out the tank with no trouble. Impulsive? Yes. Reckless? Oh hell yes. But effective? You bet your ass. I got Gemini Man to retreat. That's what matters in the end, right? I mean, a little bit of damage done. I'm sure the entire store wasn't worth 100,000 Zenny anyway. Okay, am I a little upset about this? Yes, I am. But I'm less upset than I was the other day when I argued with Bastion over the radio, because I stepped out of character when I did that, and didn't even realize I was doing it. So...Yeah. Well, stuff happens that you have no control over, and this is one of those things. Now I just gotta wait for Anthem..
