I have seen a lot of "professional" software packages that quite frankly hurt my eyes at 3am. Backyard EOS is one of those packages that is a joy to use, works all the time, and looks fantastic during the witching hours. Nothing irritates me more than poorly executed, fugly software packages that look and perform like something from the 1980s. Backyard EOS is my favorite goto tool for DSLR imaging
