The Slightly Read Bookshop has been serving Back Mountain readers with a wide variety of books since 1998. The bookshop offers Children’s Books for the very young and Chapter Books for the not-so-young; Cliff Notes and Classics, and Crafts and Cookbooks. Investigate our Mysteries or beam up with titles from our Sci-Fi section. Peruse our History and other nonfiction offerings from Sports and Travel, to Humor and Gardening. If you are a collector, we have an assortment of older titles to tempt your curiosity!<\/p>\n

The Slightly Read Bookshop is looking for volunteers. If you are interested, please call 570-675-0540.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Monday: <\/strong>1:00pm – 6:00pm<\/p>\n

Tuesday: <\/strong>10:00am – 6:00pm<\/p>\n

Wednesday: <\/strong>10:00am – 5:00pm<\/p>\n

Thursday: <\/strong>10:00am – 6:00pm<\/p>\n

Friday: <\/strong>1:00pm – 5:00pm<\/p>\n

Saturday: <\/strong>10:00am – 2:00pm<\/p>\n

The Paperback Room will only be open during Bookshop hours<\/p>\n

Most books are priced under $7.00, and there is often a weekly special on an author or genre.<\/p>\n

We honor “Whatever Cards” and local college IDs.<\/p>\n

All proceeds benefit the Back Mountain Memorial Library.<\/p>\n

The bookshop is located beneath the Children’s Wing at the rear of the Library, with parking and convenient handicap access.<\/p>\n
