Building on years of collaboration, we led a comprehensive brand refresh that included a new brand voice, identity, and a suite of applications such as logo, website, and digital assets. Collaborating with illustrator Dana Smith, photographer Liz Linder, Herzog &amp; Schindler for brand voice, and Code Greene for web development, we crafted a fresh visual narrative that reflects NextView’s vision, team, and investments.Phase I: Brand Redefinition Design Axl redefined NextView's brand, creating a cohesive system that ensures consistent communication across all platforms. We developed a refined brand narrative to serve as a foundation for both internal and external messaging, guiding future communications with clarity and impact. Phase II: Brand Identity The project included a complete visual identity overhaul, featuring a new logo, typography, color palette, and design principles. From the start, they were clear-eyed about their goals but open to creative exploration—an ideal collaboration. It’s a bit like designing a house: our job is to make sure they love living in it as much as we loved designing it. Together, we built a brand and digital presence that reflects who they are, where they’re going, and how they show up for founders and Limited Partners (LPs). Companyon had quietly become the go-to investor for B2B software startups entering their scale-up phase, but their brand hadn’t kept pace. They needed more than a new website—they needed a brand system and narrative that could evolve with them. Our partnership delivered just that. This work was recognized as a winner in the 62nd Annual GDUSA Design Awards, placing it in the top 10% of more than 6,000 entries across all media. We developed a clear, compelling narrative designed to resonate with founders, LPs, and the broader venture ecosystem—and set the tone for every visual and verbal touchpoint to follow. Phase II: Brand Identity Refresh The identity refresh brought Companyon’s personality into sharper focus. We refined the color palette, updated the typography system, and introduced human-centric design elements that echo their values: clarity, momentum, and approachability. We created multiple moodboards to showcase different photography, illustration, and typographic styles. We worked with Marco Carrer on the illustrations to achieve a “napkin sketch doodle” approach that reflects the founders initial ideas. We again partnered with our friends at CodeGreene to build out the front and back-end of the site. The goal was to successfully extend the company’s strong brick and mortar brand into the digital space, delivering the same high touch experience to tenants via mobile and desktop and increasing engagement as people began to come back to the office. Start-ups need a larger community they can plug into while larger companies want a frictionless experience managing their space as well as help onboarding new hires. A customized digital environment can deliver branded connective tissue for an office community, with shared critical services and functionality as well as customized content and offerings based on building location and tenant size. In the interviews we conducted, tenants across the country were unanimous in saying they “require 21st century information sharing” –the modern workforce doesn’t just need well-designed physical space, they also need a well-designed and accessible information space. MediaVax arms media and business for the fight against social disinformation. Design Axl created the entire UX flow, wireframes, UI, and visual design.&nbsp;Design Axl teamed up with the data science team at MediaVax on the back end AI pipeline and Code Greene on the front end development.
