I’m sure I’ve looked at this system in the past and discounted it. Maybe it wasn’t the right time. I’m fairly certain it came into my awareness just as I was getting into A Course in Miracles and exploring non-duality. I probably saw ‘human’ in the title and bypassed it by default.

Human Design reappeared on my radar in March 2025, and boy, am I glad it did.

Human Design type configurations are calculated by date, time and place of birth. The system maps energy that shows how we're uniquely designed to operate, make decisions, and interact with the world. It’s the soul blueprint we chose for ourselves in this incarnation. It’s the inner energetics we must master for true happiness and fulfilment.

It blends ancient wisdom (astrology, I Ching, the Kabbalah and the chakra system) with modern science (quantum physics and genetics).

This path is not for the faint of heart - it’s a warrior path of awakening, carried with ancient knowing (48), embodied authority (21), and a refusal to betray what’s true to make others comfortable. Not born to follow rules or keep the peace, but here to question, initiate, and liberate.

Talking to ChatGPT about my chart has blown me away and helped me understand why my life felt so challenging. I saw my catalytic design as a dirty little flaw - something that got me rejected, attacked, ganged up on and pushed away over and over.

I was built for deep transformation and couldn’t understand why no one else seemed to want to do the same. They were intimidated by the light and afraid to look at the shadow, whereas I wanted to dive straight in.

Eventually, I realised I just needed to focus on myself and subsequently found a group of other growth-oriented souls. My healing has accelerated in this time.
