AVS Disc Creator is an application that helps you burn all types of files onto CD, DVD, and Blu-ray discs. This way, you can make backup copies of your computer files or just free your hard drive from video, audio, image, and data files and save them on external discs. In addition, you can create boot discs and ISO images.

The program comes with an intuitive and clear-cut interface, with all the main functions displayed on the main window. However, you are able to customize the toolbar by leaving visible only the shortcuts you use more often. This way, the appearance is uncluttered and fitted to your needs. As I already mentioned, the tool lets you burn any type of files onto a wide range of discs. Once the files and the disc type are selected, with every new selection you can monitor the free space left compared to the total storage capacity of a given disc.

Besides the ability to burn common files, you can also burn existing disc images. Most similar software programs support only the common .iso extension, but for AVS Disc Creator extensions like .bin, .cue, .nrg aren’t unfamiliar. Archive file support works both ways, as you can save onto your computer backup copies of CD/DVD content. If you work with rewritable discs and you want to reuse them, the app helps you erase the discs completely. They will be empty and ready to burn once again. For those who don't know the properties of the disc device they are using, the utility comes with a handy option that reads the driver information and informs you about its burning abilities. What's more, you can manage the burning speed. If you are in a rush, it can burn the files at high speed. Still, it is advisable to lower it not to have the unpleasant surprise in the form of an incomplete or faulty burning process.

Its comprehensive set of features makes AVS Disc Creator a good choice when it comes to burning files to external discs, saving backup copies of CDs and DVDs, or creating ISO images and boot discs. It doesn't come with complicated settings, and most of all, it provides you with burning presets.
