wrap it up, volume three
Hey book bestie! This edition of wrap it up is going to be a bit different because today is my birthday. I’m officially a part of the chapter 27 club. I wanted to write a little reflection of what I accomplished in chapter 26, mostly because of you guys. Let’s get into this, shall we?
A Trip Down Memory Lane
In August of 2024, I downloaded Hinge.
When I was writing my debut my debut contemporary romance, After All This Time, I felt this sense of loneliness that I’ve never felt before. I was totally content with being single for many years, but I was ready to share my life with someone.
Downloading Hinge was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. It also taught me a lot about love and what I truly wanted in a partner. Fast forward to November and December, my now-boyfriend sent me a boyfriend application and we went on our first date.
Rewinding back to September of 2024, I woke up to 100k lifetime pages read on KU for After All This Time. I remember crying because I didn’t think it was feasible, let alone that so many of you would take a chance on a debut author. Thank you.
In November of 2024, I celebrated the six month anniversary of AATT with all of you.
Let’s move onto this year. I went to New York for the first time in July, and I sold some copies of AATT to a couple of indie bookstores.
All in all, I’d say my 26th chapter was a really good part of my life story. I’m excited to see what chapter 27 brings me.
