In honor of Halloween/All Hallow's Eve, I'm inviting trick-or-treaters to my 'door.' Comment "trick-or-treat" to this post and you'll get... something. So, I didn't end up having to meet my group. Long story that we're not even going to get into here.

The up side to that is that I was able to work on a lot of stuff for my blog, which excites me.

Re-aligning things

I'm going to make this journal more of a personal journal with less connection to certain things, including my writing.

I'm going to be making a public journal - http://pensandpieces.livejournal.com/ - that aligns with my blog - http://pensandpieces.blogspot.com - which I will eventually be updating and making a more regular part of things. Feel free to friend pensandpieces on LJ if you're interested in following me as a writer. (This does not mean I will be posting writing there. My free writings will still be at writings_by_pam - it simply means that this is the journal i'll keep in the public domain, with very very few of the entries being friends-locked.)

I'll update more on all of this and my reasonings later. Unfortunately, I have to do a few things and then go meet with a group for group work.

Boo to that.

To Do List Gone Awry

So, I sat down to make a to do list for the rest of my break.

This turned into creating new userpics to use when making to do lists.

So, I now have a new set of userpics over at pams_graphics that you are welcome to snag. Most of them are To Do list oriented, but there's a couple writer ones as well. :-)

Maybe that to do list will get done later. :)

I keep telling myself that we wouldn't even have an ML for my region for Script Frenzy if I hadn't signed up (way after the deadline if I might add). Still doesn't make me feel that much better. I've been a horrible ML this year - absolutely horrible. Then again, the region is hardly active.

That being said, I'm going to do my part for the donation day and post the following:

I love reading the things on Comcast's homepage each time I go to check my email. Sometimes they are really interesting to read. Today's was a classic. It was "The Top 10 Most Depressing Jobs". Guess what? Teacher and writer both make it on the list.
