@df08e @Jamesking56 use /usr/bin/pecl84 from php84-pecl subpackage. It can build PECL extensions like redis etc. Or you can create AUR package yourself and share with community

Same question here. Redis is needed for nextcloud, php8.x-redis is available for php8.0...8.3 but not for 8.4...

@Jamesking56 php-redis is not coming with standard PHP, so it's not missing ;)

@Tetrapyle c-client is AUR package. Should be preinstalled.

smtp-forwarder - doesn't matter which one you choose. It's only used for PHP tests in check()

@el_aur Thanks. I don't use php84 anymore since php-intl that I needed is now provided by php (which is 8.5 as now). I tried nonetheless today to compile php84 in a clean chroot but it stops for the dependencies:
