It appears that a detached HEAD state was pushed and that was preventing AUR helpers from updating. I have manually resolved the issue and changed the CI to hopefully prevent these issues in the future.

Todays update (opera 125.0.5729.21-1) fixed the problem on KDE.

XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=GNOME opera works indeed, KDE Waylol bork it seems.

Yes there's a bug with KDE, I had similar issue on Endeavor OS like @Leopard. Although I could run opera from bash without any startup crash.

Thankyou. But latest same libavcodec ver (0.106) should be compat. @misjah You no longer need additional step for multimedia.

It seems a hotfix has been released (ver. 125.0.5729.15), although I'm not sure if this fixed current issue (SIGSEGV on KDE).
