The Lawson Legacy: Generation 7.2

First things first – I was half asleep last time I had the chance to post, and accidentally called Fiyero's first son Germanicus. He's actually Gaius. Germanicus is a SPOILER OMG!
With that cleared up, have some more babies:

After his complete inability to comprehend Fiyero's pregnancy with Gaius, Vittorio is about to experience childbirth for himself. Really, as an heir-spouse, he's lucky it's taken so long.

If Elizabeth was a surprisingly good mother, then she is a phenomenally good grandmother. She does all the things that kids need her to do, and none of the things they really don't need her to do.

Thanks to the neon kibble, you'd never know that Catterick has been around since generation two.

Fiyero is much better at catching on to Vittorio's pregnancy than his husband was when their positions were reversed.

Probably a good thing, given that Vittorio suffers a lot more from his experience with pregnancy than Fiyero ever did.

Posing for a portrait is a terribly boring way to spend the day, according to Fiyero, but it's one of the downsides to being heir.

It's eventually finished, however – corny expression and all.

Fiyero's portrait is hung on the wall beside his mother's picture. When you see them side by side, the resemblance is even stronger.

Pop! It's pretty impossible for Vittorio to miss this pregnancy.

Fiyero ticks off all the aspiration boxes, and thus goes perma-platinum even before fulfilling his lifetime want. Smart alec.

Birthday time for Gaius!

He turns into a toddler in a shower of confetti – which is very apt for the white tuxedo he ages into.

For all his daftness at times, Vittorio really is an excellent father, who is always autonomously sweet to his kids.

Speaking of sweet, Gaius is a total cutie.

Gaius quickly learns to walk.

This is a good thing, because another baby will be arriving very soon now...

You really wouldn't know that Gaius has eight nice points from his tantrums.

He's wizzing through his toddler skills, though. Typical oldest child. By the end of a generation, the kids are lucky if they get to eat.

Fiyero is way too excited when Gaius learns how to say Daddy.

Let's get a close up on that face, shall we?

Drawing is srs bzns.

Okay, so Gaius isn't quite the typical oldest. Sometimes even the most doting parents mess up.

Fiyero makes it to the top of his career.

Rose comes home from work with the flu, but she sleeps it off and manages not to infect anyone else.

BABY TIME

VITTORIO: OMG THIS SUCKS
ELIZABETH: Oh dear, that looks painful
GAIUS: Getting the hell outta here kthx
ROSE: Dayum my wife is hot!
...

It's a boy! And his name is Germanicus! Bet you didn't see that one coming ;) He has red hair, grey eyes and tan skin.

Vittorio is definitely the perfect spouse. He's best friends with his husband's mother AND gets along brilliantly with the family cat.

Too many children cause Fiyero to regress a little...

While this looks like Vittorio looking evil while being watched by an equally evil snowman (courtesy of Elizabeth, presumably), it's actually a POP photo. Yeah, poor guy's pregnant again. Sorry, Vittorio.

Fiyero fulfills his lifetime want. He's already perma-platinum, so it doesn't really mean much.

His next lifetime want is to become a space pirate, so he switches to the adventure career track.

As is often the way in legacies, the birthdays seem to come in clumps with generation seven. First, it's Gaius's turn.

He's a ridiculously cute kid. Full marks, Gaius!

And then it's time for Germanicus to age up.

It's a pity about the potty in the background, really. He's not as cute as his brother, but he's fine as far as toddlers go.

POP!

Yep, that's really an appropriate place to get it on, ladies. I hope Vittorio is putting some money aside for Germanicus's future therapy bills.

Random Gaius-is-such-a-cute-kid shot.

Despite being scarred for life by the sight of his grandmothers shagging in the living room, Germanicus actually manages to gain his toddler skills.

Nice hat, Fiyero.

Flavius and Nathen pop around for a visit, because apparently Flavius can't go five minutes without gossiping with his mother.

They arrive just in time to witness Rose hitting old age.

She's still pretty... but her sanity really starts to fade from this point onwards.

Flavius tells Vittorio all about the great sex he and Nathen just had in the family hot tub. Nathen thinks it's a great story; Vittorio's not so sure.

When he's not busy woohooing, Nathen's actually a good uncle to the boys, even autonomously bathing Germanicus.

Now that she's hit old age, Rose retires.

And, to celebrate, Vittorio gives birth.

It's another boy: Griffith.

Gaius can't believe he has to put up with another younger sibling.

Sorry, Gaius: he won't be the last!

I had only wanted there to be three children in this generation, but the legacy has been F-M-F-M-F-M so far when it comes to heirs, so I thought I'd have the boys try one more time for a girl, to make continuing the pattern a possibility. Because apparently I am a masochist where the Sims are concerned.
