The Lawson Legacy: Generation 5.4

Last time, gen 3 heir Celeste and her wife Lucy both died of old age :( Elizabeth started on her life of debauchery as a romance sim and Drusus and Darren were back to being smoochy and in love.






We start the update with sweetness and light, to commemorate just how relatively drama free the Lawsons have been up until this point. It's not going to last.





Eponine still hates hugs. Even when they're romantic hugs aimed at getting the date action she's forever rolling wants for.





Creepy boy apparently thinks lesbians are put on the earth for his benefit. He just stood and stared as Elizabeth and Jill made out and fell in love. Guess what, kid – it's just as gross in the sims as it is IRL.

Now for a momentary interlude. Now that I've installed Free Time and Apartment Life, a few more facts about the family:
Drusus is a Cuisine sim
Darren is a Science sim, which goes nicely with his lifetime aspiration being to be a Mad Scientist
Elizabeth is a Sports sim, with the secondary aspiration of Pleasure
Eponine is a Cuisine sim
Eleanor is a Cuisine sim
And back to your scheduled programming...





Eponine wanted to make out with three different Sims, so she called on her old friend, the matchmaker.





She'll do. Even if she does appear to be wondering what the hell she's getting herself into. Her name is Sheila Cameron and she's about to feel the full force of Elizabeth Lawson.





Elizabeth's hawt is very convincing, apparently. I don't think her father wants to watch, though.





Sheila: IT ANGERS ME THAT YOU ARE SO HOT





You snogged her anyway, though, didn't you, Sheila?





Darren finally manages to get a job in the Science career track. Seriously, every day the computer was full of super obscure expansion pack careers, and no basic Science :( BUT! It finally appeared and Darren headed off to work for the first time, only to return as the Eleventh Doctor.





Even Timelords don't understand that these things happen if you're silly enough to play Punch U-Punch Me with One-Nice-Point Elizabeth.





Hi Darcy! Welcome back to your childhood home. Except it isn't actually your childhood home, because that one was bulldozed.







I hate to tell you this, kids, but it's no great secret that Darren once burned a patch of pancakes. Especially in comparison to the rather HUGE family secret regarding your parentage.





Darren: Congratulations on having ten BFFs OMG!





Drusus: *is resoundingly unimpressed*





Drusus: EW EW EW Ray Tellerman is so gross!

Considering the fact that he's your brother's husband, this is kind of a good thing, Drusus.





Because apparently all Darcy was interested in was popping around to make use of the ballet bar. Hey, I'm excited about new expansion packs too, Darcy, but you could have at least spoken to Drusus.





Hi Lucy! Welcome back :)





Yeah, you wouldn't be quite so welcome, Abbey, if it weren't for the fact that Drusus is a Knowledge sim.





Darren brought this chap home from work. There are few things more annoying when your workmates come over just so they can hog the hot tub for hours on end.





Luring your children into the bathroom so that they can be completely inappropriate in front of them is one of those few things D:





Speaking of inappropriate, there is an entire 5x5 yard that you could be playing ball in, guys.





Drusus: I'm so glad that we're not fighting any more!





Drusus: I was starting to think I was going to have to kick you out!

Mahew breaks the dishwasher then decides that no one will notice as long as he looks the other way.





Darren, however, was not about to miss a chance to berate his husband's former lover. Somehow I doubt he stuck to the matter at hand.





Drusus's bird watching skills are so highly developed that he can see all the way to Australia!





There is no point to this photo beyond the fact that (a) I love Drusus and (b) I love violins. It's like the PERFECT STORM of simming.





Darren: I feel tingly in my innards o.O





Don't worry Darren, you're just getting old. Happens to all of us who are lucky enough to escape being hit by lightning or drowned in ladderless backyard pools.





He makes for a sweet looking older gent.





Elizabeth, it's not nice to cheat when playing chess with your aging father.





She'd lifted her goals a little and now wanted to make out with five different sims, so it was time to call in some help.





Elizabeth: You want me to make out with the papergirl? When she's wearing that hat?

Her name is Carla Shaikh and she turns out to be surprisingly resistant to Elizabeth's advances.





Elizabeth decides to dull the rejection with drugs. But I am mean and cruel and refuse to let my sims sit around being boring all day. It's the same reason I got rid of their television.





No matter, though, because it's time for Elizabeth and Eleanor to grow up!





Eleanor goes first and is a graceful (if somewhat explodey) ballerina.





She's stunning.

Eponine has a lot to live up to if she wants to be as hot as her twin.





Now, now, Darren. We can all see that Eponine aged into a hideous outfit. There's no need to be sarcastic about it.





Meet Eponine, the hottest sim I have ever had in game. I'm not entirely sure it's legal for born-in-game sims to be this gorgeous.

As a newborn Romance Sim, Eponine immediately seeks out her big sister's advice when it comes to lubrication.

It's all topped of with a Congratulations On Growing Older noogie. Elizabeth's nice like that.





This, folks, is what happens when the manmaid is the father of your younger set of twins and your husband has different work hours to you. All they did is flirt, though. Drusus is on his best behaviour these days.





The girls bring their cousin, Edmund, home from school. He's a pretty one, is Edmund, and true Lawson stock.





Not so pretty is Sheila Harris (another Sheila? really, game?), who comes home from work and is BLATANTLY USED by Darren in pursuit of the extra family friend he needs to get his next promotion.





BEST. GLITCHFACE. EVAR.





Sheila the First falls in love anyway. Now that's devotion.





Elizabeth had been a Romance Sim for ALL OF ONE DAY without getting her first crush, so things were getting pretty desperate. This, you see, is the problem with bringing your cousin home from school, Elizabeth.





AWKWARD.

Eponine: You do realise you just brought me my sister's girlfriend, right?





They hit it off nicely anyway. Despite the fact that Jill kept rolling Elizabeth-related wants alongside the Eponine-related ones.





Eleanor still has food issues, poor thing. (She actually got fat pretty much the moment she got to university. This time she seemed fine with it, so I had her stay that way, glad that she'd finally embraced her natural body type.)





Eponine fails so hard at being a Romance Sim. She really should have been a Family Sim with her personality, but the die roll is god :(





She still manages to score her first kiss from Jill, though, despite the apparent SHEER BOREDOM of it all.





See how happy Elizabeth looks? She's approving of the fact that her sister just snogged her girlfriend.





Meanwhile, Sheila goes a leeeeetle overboard with her thankyou gift...





BUT WAIT! WHAT'S THIS?? What can possibly have turned Elizabeth's approval into fury?

You got it, folks – Eponine had the audacity to hug Jill. And, as we all know, hugs and Elizabeth are sworn enemies. You just don't DO that to a sister's girlfriend!





Your bitchyface is divine, Elizabeth.





Her single nice point is really starting to show.





Wow, Elizabeth, you made a Romance Sim cry. Well done. (She's still in love with Jill at this point, by the way. All she lost was her crush.)





Eponine tries to use a teddy bear to diffuse the tension of having HUGGED her sister's love.





Elizabeth isn't having any of it.





Oh wow, is Eponine actually capable of being anything but infallibly, tooth-rottingly nice?





Apparently not.





Sure, Jill. Stealing the newspaper that Elizabeth has NEVER EVER shown any interest at all in reading will be the perfect revenge for her shouting at you. She'll be devastated.





Um, Eleanor? I can pretty much guarantee you're not pregnant, given that you've never so much as kissed anyone.





...and are not likely to be kissing anyone anytime soon, given that you chose to bring another cousin (Elphaba) home, instead of an eligible townie.





Lifetime Want Achieved! It took ages for Darren to get into the right career track, but once he did, it was up up up the ziggurat, lickety-split.





Jill, Elizabeth is a Lawson. She thinks cleaning is the Most Funnest Thing Evar. She'll consider this a present, not a punishment, you know.





Now that Sims are supposed to be able to age up close friends upon growing older themselves, I feel justified in stepping in where that doesn't work, due to friends being Maxis playables or the whole thing where you can't age friends into young adulthood. So Elizabeth invited over her childhood bestie, Tessa Ramirez...





...and turned her into a teen. She really does have a strangely-designed face. Generally my townies are more generic templatey than her.





Eleanor rolled the want to go steady with someone (anyone!) so it was her turn to call up the matchmaker.





I wouldn't get too excited, Eleanor. She'll probably bring you Jill as well.





Score! It's actually a pretty girl called Katherine Greaves.





Meanwhile, inside the house, Eponine is busy being terrorised by Elphaba.





Eponine smash?





No, false alarm again.





Eleanor makes a shy move on Katherine. Unfortunately, while happy to be admired, she's Just Not Into Eleanor.





Darren's favourite pastime is gossiping about Mahew. Revenge comes in all shapes and sizes.





As Katherine wouldn't provide her first kiss, Eleanor tries again. Callista Platz is a little heavy-handed with the makeup brush, but Eleanor's not picky.





Besides, Callista actually thinks Eleanor's hot, which is a step up from Katherine already.





So hot, apparently, that she's willing to provide that elusive first kiss! Which means...









It's time for the three girls to head off to university together, because this generation is taking forever :D

Next time: University! Two Romance Sims in the one dorm! Which hopefully won't result in my uni going BOOM. I'm a little worried about the cook being glitched while playing yesterday...
