The Lawson Legacy: Generation 1.3

Our last update ended with me being horrified at how cute li'l Benjamin turned out as a teen. Where to from there? Read on!





I decided the best thing to do was to completely ignore the horror story that my Legacy had turned into. When in doubt, watching toddlers playing with the dollhouse tends to make things shinier.





Outside, Brutus demonstrated he was made of FAIL.





In an attempt to convince myself that I wasn't completely shallow, I decided to allow Benjamin a blind date.





Not bad for eleven bucks!





Benjamin described his sexual preference through stereotypical mime.





Date!boy was having none of it, however.





In fact, he spent most of the 'date' talking to Brutus about the wonders of robots. I only wish I were exaggerating here.





Bethany and Bella's birthday rolled around.





Bethany looked exactly like I expected her to – a female version of Benjamin and Brutus. Sigh.





Benjamin, meanwhile, demonstrated his intelligence by celebrating about a Sim hour after everyone else did *g*





Bella's turn! As the only child with vaguely different looks, my entire Legacy hopes were resting on her shoulders.





Oh crap :/





I gave up trying to pretend that I wasn't desperately shallow, and Amelie invited her old "friend" Abbey Fleig around for a booty call.





Pop! Yup, Abbey knocked Amelie up. I missed a pop and didn't take any other pictures during the pregnancy, however.





Baby time! I have no idea what Brutus did to have Benjamin fuming about him in the background.





We all know what this means... To be honest, it didn't come as a surprise. I made sure that there would be a second set of twins in the family. Cheesecake FTW ;) The twins were a boy and a girl, Britannicus and Bree, both with Amelie's colouring.





I hope Amelie felt as guilty as I did when Mary came home from work and started cheering about the new babies :/





Birthday time again. Mary was almost always the person to help the babies and toddlers with birthdays, because Amelie was usually exhausted in bed.

Then it was Brutus's turn to have a birthday. I'm pretty sure he's wishing NOT to look like his brother.

Amelie totally played favourites with Bethany. I never saw her tuck in the boys or Bella.





I don't blame her, though. Bethany was just one of those perfect Sim kids, complete with hugs for Mary every time she arrived home from work.

Bree looks just like Abbey would look if she had Amelie's colouring.





NOT HEIR. Benjamin is sent off to college.





NOT HEIR EITHER. Brutus joins him.





Originally, I said I wasn't going to use the elixir at all, but I changed my mind *g* I don't want parents to become elders until their last child is an adult, so I shall be using the elixir to prevent that.





The house was renovated yet again, and all of the baby and toddler products were shut away until the next generation.





Ooh, he looks like he'd be interested in boys.





Mary rushed out in her nightie to greet him. It could've been worse. Amelie probably would've gone out there completely starkers.





Britannicus inherited Amelie's laziness along with her colouring.





It was time for the older twins to become teens. I didn't hold out much hope for either of them, given that Bethany was likely to look like her brothers and Bree was such a scary looking child.





OMG SCORE! I don't know how it happened, but Bethany somehow managed to be a really cute teenager.

Amelie got fat. I figured she was completely justified in doing so after birthing six babies, so I didn't bother to do anything about it.





Bree was the most content child!Sim I've ever had. She pottered around the house playing quietly with her teddy, calling her school friends and cleaning up.

Mary decided to bring a friend home from work. Abbey. Awkward much?

Bella brought this home from school. Not even the non-heirs, darling.





This would undoubtedly be much sweeter if Amelie weren't completely naked. Sigh.





Money matters improved to the point of the family being able to afford their very first car.





And Bella was shipped off to college. NOT HEIR.





Bethany demonstrated just how bad at dancing she is. Although to be fair, she was trying to dance to no-creativity-points-Britannicus playing the bass.





Speaking of Britannicus, he takes after Amelie when it comes to clothes. Or lack of clothes, to be more precise.





Finally, it was time for the younger set of twins to become teens.





After a makeover, Britannicus was still decent.

She turned out cute anyway.

I sent the teens into town to check out the local talent. The only one worth pursuing was this chap, who I'm pretty sure is the same guy Mary nabbed on a walk-by last update.





This is the look I got when I tried to get Britannicus to flirt with the chap. Coming from the guy who cheers when you tell him to clean a toilet, you've gotta question his priorities.





All three of the remaining kids wanted to get into private school, so the Headmaster was duly invited over. Amazingly, they got in, despite him considering the house unfit for children.





While Bree was skilling, I let the other two try a blind date. This girl wasn't bad for the $30 minimum Bethany paid, but she wasn't interested in Bethany, either.





Britannicus' date was far less impressive. They got along okay, though, so he'll probably do as a future family friend.









The last three children were shipped off to college, the first heir officially chosen. Who that heir is... will be revealed next update :D
