I've never done this before but I think I mostly cut dead journals or the journal's of people I never talk to. If you can still see this entry you are still added. I'm trying to regain a connection to this place and that includes cleaning up a bit. I haven't been extremely active here lately, but I've been trying to write more about my day to day life rather than only events I think warrant an entry. And even then, I don't always write. I'm going to try to be more active, though I don't promise anything, and try to focus more on the simple things in life. I don't particularly enjoy seeing my last entries months and months ago, so I'll be working on that.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope everyone had a good holiday and may 2009 be better. I've been very awol lately, and will probably continue to be for some time due to college, but it is my goal this year to write more. I might even do a real post soon. Around Christmas I jumped on the bandwagon to create a picspam regarding my 2008 year. I think my banner picture perfectly describes portions of my year. :) Also, this marks my first public post in a very long time.

This began as a simple picspam, my first ever, yet the final result resembles more of a tornado of ideas. I had originally planned on writing captions or add quotes to the pictures but after spending too much time and days on my computer, I decided that pictures were enough. Though more for personal reasons of being tired of looking at my computer screen than anything else. Also, this does not cover all I enjoyed throughout the year (or am anticipating for 09), but it covers my primary obsessions and likes. Many of the people deserve picspams of their own, and perhaps I will make a few in the future. Most of the pictures represent my favorite new discoveries of the year, while others are rediscovered gems or old favorites.

It doesn't represent everything in order of like, but really just the way I put it together. Usually the ones near the top are my favorite favorite, but that isn't always the case. :) This took a lot of time so please do not use these images for your own personal use without permission. Hello! I am a soon to be twenty year old college student who is still figuring out the direction for her life, though the basic subjects (theatre, film, English) are relatively established. I love all types of film, except horror, and hold a special appreciation and love for old, black and white films. I will watch almost anything that features Fred Astaire, Katharine Hepburn, Cate Blanchette, or Kate Winslet (among others, but they are my favorites). I love languages, though I often terribly misuse English by talking in fragments with too many commas; and accents of all shapes and sizes. I carry a book with me everywhere and read everything I can get my hands on, though I'm known to not always finish what I start. I really like scarves and things that make my heart skip, paintings and the magic of nature, and doing things that frighten me, or at least attempting them.

I'M CURRENTLY INTO: Zachary Quinto, gangster movies, Spock and Star Trek, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, John Updike, trying to figure out the puzzles from Wired's "Mystery Issue" with J.J. Abrams, reading and listening to comedy writing (not mine), staying up late watching movies, The Tonight Show (and Coco Christopher), Marion Cotillard, John Stewart and the Daily Show, title sequences, Tennessee Williams, random quotes.
