Audible is a great service if you enjoy audiobooks. I have been a member for several years and their selection of down-loadable books is excellent. They use a proprietary extension to hinder members from passing around their books but since they are a commercial enterprise that is understandable. I have never had any problems with downloading and transferring the books to an MP3 player that is on their lisetof compatible devices.
