on this journal:
As of May 2009, this is a defunct fic journal. My main fic journal will live at dreamwidth, though I suspect I'll be crossposting fic for a while. I like to have everything in one place, and I hate it when things disappear, so for better and for worse, my stuff is here for the duration.

on the fic:
I am multifannish and uninterested in bits, and I don't really distinguish between FPF and RPF. Also, while there are ships I enjoy more than others, I'll read pretty much anything. Sometimes it'll take me a while to get there, but I always get there. I'm still writing, but I do it very slowly and it's rare for me to write more than a handful of stories in a fandom before moving to the next. The best place to find all my fic is at the archive of our own.

on friending:
You are free to friend me, or not; it is totally up to you. There is no need to tell me or ask me or anything like that. All my fic is, and will continue to be, posted publicly, and I don't anticipate using this account for anything other than fic and fic-related things.

on the real world:
My (largely defunct by now) RL journal is easily findable by anyone so inclined, but I'm not linking it on my profile page.

on concrit/feedback/reviews/whatever:
I've watched a million rounds of reviewank go by, and it tires me out every time, so I have this to say: You're welcome to talk about my fic in whatever capacity you want to. If you like something I've written, feel free to tell me (though you don't have to). If you've got concrit, go ahead and hit me with it. I can take it. The point is that if you want to say something, go for it. Leave me comments, send me e-mail, write scathing reviews, discuss it amongst yourselves. Whatever. I appreciate all forms of interaction/response/etc with the exception of flames, and if you don't know the difference between concrit and flames, you probably should leave the internet until you figure it out. If you're talking about my work in your own space and you haven't specifically asked me to join the conversation, I will just pretend I haven't seen it and we'll all go on with our lives.

on the pretty:
Icon credits are (or most certainly should be) in the comment fields for individual icons. I'm pretty careful about that, but let me know if one is incorrect or missing or whatever.

on licensing:
Creative Commons License
All fanworks by atrata are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 United States License.

What that means is that you don't have to ask me if you want to remix, translate, record, write fic for, or make fanart for one of my stories. Just credit me and we're cool. I also appreciate links so I can tell people these things exist.
