Living with Collections | PARIS, FRANCE
This typically Parisian apartment renovation in the north of the 16th arrondissement in Paris is a unique project. The client’s desire meets our architectural curiosity and audacity. In charge of the complete interior renovation, we conceived a unique place where art and everyday life are mixed, where piece of art gets perfectly highlighted. To head this goal, we recreated the original structure of the apartment by deleting all the superficial partition walls. Then 4 different spaces emerged: the lobby (emphasised by the absence of natural light reinforced by the use of dark material sand totally dedicated to piece of art that are displayed in this room), the living room (clear and white thanks to 3 large windows), the office (an in-between where intimacy is linked to art, here thinking and contemplation are free to be) and the bedroom and bathroom that are like niches digged into the structure of the apartment creating a new feeling of cocoon offering unique experience.
