Weekly update
New video, automating open problems and differential topology
Time for our weekly update!
First of all, thanks to all that liked the previous posts. It’s feedback that there is someone interested in these… so, I’ll keep doing them!
New video. Video released on the first of the month, as usual.
Automating list of open problems. I worked on this more this week, and I think I have something that can substitute the old setup. If anyone wants to give it a try and see if everything works before I switch next week, that would be helpful!
Exterior derivative, boundary functionals and discrete counterparts. I met on Friday with Nicholas Parkin, who reached out to me a month ago as he has been doing some work on formalizing the intuition about differential forms and Stoke’s theorem that we have been using in different places, including the reverse engineering of the action principle. The idea is to link that with discrete differential geometry to make the intuition more literal in the starting definitions.
I was also able to make some progress on the non-conservative variational principle. The math now looks polished. I also made another pass to the Reverse Physics of quantum state space… to realize that probably I have to restart in a different way. That’s how progress looks like. Hopefully, I’ll have something stable by the end of the month.

Thank you for the update; this is wonderful information.
Also, good luck in adapting a different approach to reverse physics of quantum state space… I believe in you sir!
