Frequently Asked
Questions

Anything unanswered? matt@asksite.co

How is this different from a chatbot widget?

Ask Site is a hosted answer site for your content, not a support bubble pasted onto a page. Visitors can ask questions, read cited answers, open source pages, and share useful answers with other people.

What types of content can I import?

Ask Site works best with creator and archive formats like YouTube channels, podcasts, course lessons, articles, websites, newsletters, and public knowledge libraries. Documents and PDFs can also be included when they belong in the source library.

How long does setup take?

You can create the first version in about 10 minutes. Larger libraries may take longer to import, but the workflow is simple: add sources, review what belongs in the library, personalize the site, and publish.

Will this affect my SEO?

Ask Site is designed to create useful public pages around real audience questions. Those pages can be indexed by Google and link back to the original videos, articles, and source pages they came from.

Can I customize how it looks?

Yes. Paid plans can use a custom domain like ask.yoursite.com, remove Ask Site branding, and adjust the site so it feels like a natural extension of your content.

What happens when I hit my question limit?

Your plan includes a monthly question limit. If you reach it, the site asks visitors to try again later and you can upgrade when you are ready for more usage.

How accurate are the answers?

Answers are grounded in the sources you add to the library and include citations so visitors can check the original material. If the library does not cover a question, Ask Site should say so instead of pretending.

Can I see what questions people are asking?

Yes. Analytics show the questions people ask, the topics they return to, and the gaps your current library does not answer yet.

Do I need to keep my content updated?

You control what stays in the library. Ask Site can refresh supported sources as you publish more, and older material remains available until you remove it.
