Yamapi isn't really my favourite out of P-A-R-K if I take into account everything, but based on looks alone, I really think he looks better and better with age. There isn't really a period in his youth when he actually looked bad. And he seldom takes a bad picture.

Ethan and XiaoYue (His English name is Rhydian but I still like to call him XiaoYue) are making it so hard for me not to ship them. ）：　I watched Monga again today with my mum and the subtle glances that Monk cast Prince are really quite obvious. It's such a bummer that the media focuses more on Mark since he's obviously the bigger star along with Ethan but frankly, in the story Mark's character, Mosquito, is more like the narrator and he's quite naive in a way which results in the tragic ending but anyway.

I've been searching for chinese fanfics abt them and there aren't many and it's so sad when u're obsessed with a pairing atm and yet there isn't many fics to satisfy ur craving. T_______T

Hahahaha, oblivious to Mark. :P

Anyway Ethan said that XiaoYue is the sort of guy who's very easy to love because he's so simple. XD

At the airport, where XiaoYue is like "I love u guysss!!!!" and Ethan tows him away

And believe it or not, no rivalry between Mark or Ethan at all. In fact, in the scene, where they swore brotherhood at the temple, they really cut their fingers and drank the wine, which means that their vows about being sworn brothers had indeed taken place.

One more, on the bus when they're doing the PR rounds for Monga.

Not that Mark and Ethan aren't cute, they have their fair share of flail-worthy moments and there was this period where Ethan had alot of negative press in the papers and during interviews, Mark would often deflect the questions.

Because I love this scene. This is probably the one where Monk lets his defenses down.

So I finally watched Monga and OMG at its core is a BL story. (if anyone wanna watch it, it is on Youtube and it comes with Eng subs :DDD)

I'm very impressed with Ethan Ruan, my knowledge of him before was limited to Taiwanese idol dramas but he was really good in this drama as Monk. Geeez his crying scene was scary. And also they apparently went through alot of hardship for the filming of this movie. There was this scene where Ethan was slapped like 100 times because they wanted to make the scene look real.

Ethan's character Monk loves Prince (XiaoYue's character) so much tho in his mind, he probably thought this love was loyalty since he has been by Prince's side since he was a little kid. (ignores Mark Chao)

Overall a very sincere production, not to mention how close the guys became after working on this movie.

And a kiss brought to u by Ethan and XiaoYue. XDDD

No I didn't watch the chinese-subbed version, but after I read pithetaphish's review, I was able to sorta understand the gist of it.

(spoilers below cut)

Beautiful cinematography. Almost like a pretty PV. Even though Jin is supposedly the lead actor, it's Kitano Kii who is the protaganist, and you see through her eyes.

Some of the best scenes in the movie were the ones where Yukiya was in it. Love the scene in which Yukiya was remixing Hatachi no Sensou with the light swaying above him and him sitting in the shadows.

And the beach scene.

The last scene was gorgeous. And u know what, this is how I'll like to remember Jin. In a studio with headphones over his ears, and awash in light with a smile playing on his lips, oblivious to everything around him as he sings.

And at the end Asako looks at him, and it's a song she knows the very words to, and she sings along with him. Because no matter how she feels about Natsu, she is certain about how she feels about Natsu's music.

I've heard quite a few fangirls saying that some parts of the movie esp about the breaking down of LANDS strangely echo real life. Hope the eng subs will come out soon.

One in a Million PV is so full of cheese, and I had to lol at Hoodie!Yamapi mouthing the words to his song but ahhhh. u have to say he's hawt in a suit (That said, the girl is so their type)

And yes, the song is my guilty pleasure. XD

Note : Can the writers of Joker increase Ryo's screentime? Anne Watanabe is getting on my nerves. Sheesh.

Also anyone has the mp3 of Scar by Rip Slyme (theme song of Joker)?

PERFECTION ♥

Lost. I cried. I'm not even one of those crazy Lost fans. I think in a way I alwis thought Jack was the protaganist and I find it meaningful that he ended up where he started out, having fixed his daddy issues and redeemed himself, finally at peace. T___T

I'm taking back all the nice things I said about Sunao. This is the show where everyone is in love with Nakaji except poor Doctor. And Nakaji and Haru's attitude, towards each other and the people around them, is starting to annoy me.

So I read bits of the 15000 word interview from +act and Ryo said during the movie rehearsal he didn't remember the lines (while Tomosaka Rie and the child actor did) cos previously during his drama rehearsals, he didn't have to and neither did his co-stars. I almost wanted to strangle him. Geez.

The whole interview was awkward. XDDD The reporter had to fill in a lot of blanks for him. But then again this is his first time doing such a serious interview. Hopefully he'll get to do plenty more like this.

Ok halfway through ep 4, I kinda thought Maemi and Rensuke weren't so bad together. It's so excruciating to see Maemi obviously liking Rensuke and yet letting him run to Xiumei. It makes no sense D: Also I have no idea how Rensuke feels towards her, at times it looks as though there's something more, other times, he's seemingly oblivious to her intentions.

Rensuke writing "I'm sorry" in chinese in Xiumei's little notebook. I love how they show him gradually opening up to Xiumei.

And I love Rensuke's half-smile when he saw the onigiri at the hotel desk. The smile is so typical Takuya Kimura.

And can I just say how gorgeous the CM for Regolith is? Chiling looked so pretty there, esp with the single tear sliding down her cheek.

Also I like Kitagawa Keiko's character, she isn't half as annoying as she appeared to be in the beginning. In fact I think her rapport with Rensuke is very cute.

Towards the end, Xiumei wanted to catch the water strider for Rensuke because she says she's already happy, and she wants Rensuke to be happy instead. It's so sweet. T T this last scene gives me the fuzzies!

I really like this episode cos it shows Rensuke's soft side. He isn't as heartless as he appears tho it looks like next episode he is back to being an arse. ~~DID HE HAVE SEX WITH XIUMEI ALREDI :O omg that's fast~~ Also I love Takuya Kimura. He is so fine for a guy who's approaching 40 years old. >////<

I lost the urge to update my journal these days, maybe cos I can't think of anything I wanna blog about. Anyway here's another snippet of Ryo in Chomage Purin. He seems to really get along with the child actor. XD The little boy got to put lip gloss on him. >///<

By the way, the Chomage Pudding crew were shooting at a Mos Burger restaurant the other day and the extra was saying Ryo was playing with the two child actors and his complexion was very dark. XDD During the break in between filming, he started swinging one of the little kids around.

I like the choreography of Sakura Girl. Nishiki needs to tidy up his hair tho. It's really messy. Now I just need to get the image of Alien Eyes dancing out of my mind. *shudders*

I just want to say that I heard the Olympos album. I love the album. I dun see why some people dun like it. I'm not sure what they were expecting, were they expecting Jin more in the vein of JE? it seemed to be influenced by indie rock and I was honestly quite impressed

I admit I always have this love/hate relationship with Jin, on one hand I dun really like his crazy partying and his mehhh attitude sometimes towards his work, but yet this is a guy with a wonderful stage presence and undeniable talent. But it's like so much thought is put into the music (ok this might be better credited to Kobayashi = =||). I love the hidden track at the end of サンキュー. It's like Jin cradling his guitar and singing those words into the microphone and every feeling & breath he took is amplified.

Hatachi no Sensou, 元気 perfect issue and サンキュー are my faves at the moment tho. 元気 perfect issue had such a warm infectious melody I love it at first listen. XD And I could probably spend many sleepless nights listening to the hidden track (in fact now I'm all emo after repeated listening to it DD: )

Anyway, any thoughts on the album? :)
