Mary Paliath is an artist and writer based in New York. Creativity has always been a huge part of her life and she recently decided to pursue it as a career in her 50’s. She’s also a Mom, wife, wisdom seeker, quiet rebel, lover of humanity and the beauty and magic of the world around us.
I had a dream the other night that I was a bubblegum machine and that every time you put a quarter in a different little world came out. In that liminal state, I said to myself, that's how I am, I am filled with disparate gumballs! Sometimes I am gumball of a theatrical stage, sometimes typewritten words, sometimes sculptures made out of wax, sometimes videos of abstract textures, and then there's the drawing gumball. I am literally all over the place. If it's creative, I'm there. On substack I write literary fiction and have recently created the Substack zine "SUM FLUX".
