Our ArtsImpact, ArtsBuild, and Cultural Tourism grants—offered in partnership with Visit Canton—are designed to foster innovation, strengthen infrastructure, and drive cultural tourism across Stark County.


ArtsImpact grants provide project-based funding to foster collaborations that align with ArtsinStark’s strategic focus areas: Arts & Education, Arts & Well-Being, and Arts & Vitality.
FY2027 ArtsImpact Grant Applications Open April 1 – May 15, 2026
Grants of $2,500 – $7,500 will be awarded for projects taking place between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027.

FY25 CURRENT ARTSIMPACT GRANTEES
Reporting for FY25 (current) ArtsImpact grantees is open NOW with a deadline of August 1st.
NOTE: ArtsBuild grantees will file a combination FY25 report and FY26 renewal in June 2025.
ArtsBuild grants provide vital unrestricted operating support to strengthen arts organizations across Stark County.
Awarded on a five-year funding cycle, these grants ensure sustainability and growth for key cultural institutions. Current grantees include the Canton Museum of Art, Canton Ballet, Sing Stark, Canton Palace Theatre, Massillon Museum, Bluecoats, and Canton Symphony Orchestra.
ArtsBuild provides general operating support for an invited group of not-for-profit cultural institutions serving residents and visitors in Stark County. ArtsBuild grantees will file a combination FY25 report and FY26 renewal in June 2025. ArtsBuild grantees will renew support for four additional years before being reviewed again by a peer panel.

ArtsinStark and Visit Canton partner together to offer Cultural Tourism Grants of up to $20,000 to support marketing and event initiatives that drive increased visitation and economic impact in the region.
Eligible projects must highlight arts and culture, including visual arts, museums, performing arts, theaters, attractions, historic and cultural sites, as well as events that showcase traditions, history, music, and art.
Stark Stories: America 250 Grants
Visit Canton in partnership with ArtsinStark, will award $250,000 in support of America 250 projects to Stark County organizations.
