This application has been developed primarily to assess the impingement hip pathology in which in recent years has come a long way, both diagnosis and treatment.

The impingement of the hip or femoral-acetabular shock (CFA), affects the hip joint in young adults and middle-aged and occurs when the femoral head articulates abnormally or does not allow a normal range of motion in the cup or acetabulum . As a result, damage to the articular cartilage labrum or both, producing a hip osteoarthritis or wear in young people.

This application is for both patients and physicians (orthopedic, rehabilitation, sports physicians, primary care physicians, ...).

For the patient, it is a practical guide to know what this process with pictures and animations that make it easier to understand this complicated disease. You can also see what rehabilitation exercises to perform.

For the practitioner is an essential tool in assessing the clinical and the results before and after treatment, as it contains the main questionnaires or scores today are used to evaluate this disease, as well as specific sections of image scan , treatment and rehabilitation related pathology which deals with hip arthroscopy.

The questionnaires included in the application can be easily completed by the patient, and, once completed, the application calculates the final result and it can be saved or emailed.

Hip Scores includes the following questionnaires:
-scale Modified Harris
-HOS (Hip Outcome Score). Validated scale to Castilian by Dr. Roberto Seijas and colleagues.
-iHot 12 (International Hip Outcome Tool - short version)
-iHOT 33 (International Hip Outcome Tool - long version)
-NAHS (Non Arthritic Hip Score)
-Vail Hip Score (Dr. Marc Philippon)
-scale WOMAC hip

It also includes other useful tools such as:
Indice body mass.
-scale Visual pain (patient slides a cursor depending on the degree of pain and the result can be guardardado or sent by email).
-Exploration Physics (major maneuvers exploration hip).
-Ficha Protocol hip adult (form in which several clicks, we get a record collection of data exploration, surgery and follow-up). Based on the data collection sheet Dr. Oliver Marin.
-conventional X (main radiological measurements hip pathology).
-Medidor Hip angles (is designed a digital template provides the ability to measure the angle alpha and angle or angle acetabular Wiberg coverage).
-Drawings Hip
-Consentimiento Reported for hip arthroscopy.
-Ficha Surgical hip arthroscopy (surgical protocol in which the surgeon can write data to surgery and draw on a template injuries depending on the geographical areas identified by Dr. Ilizariturri).
-Rehabiltación After hip arthroscopy (postoperative protocol with explanatory illustrations for patients and ability to download a pdf with the protocol)

This application has been designed and developed entirely by computer by Dr. Alberto Sánchez, medical specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, Hospital de Galdakao (Vizcaya, Spain), Arthroscopy Unit.
