Thinking about cutting down my F-list...

If anyone that can read this feels strongly about remaining in my lists, or would rather not, feel free to inbox me, or post here. I am leaving this post as "Everyone", because many of my past posts have been private. I will not be cutting anyone quickly, and I can let you know. I try to post and reply on your pages when I can, but i know I've been lax.

I want to ratchet down my settings to a handful of close friends and start culling excessive names and groups that I'm hardly interacting with these days. Many of you that I am keeping here, I already have on Facebook. If I can make it private after that, these saved folks will remain. But the next 10 years of livejournal, I hope to start my next chapter. What I *want* is to archive the first years... as they have good and bad elements in them, then delete every post or save special ones. Too many of these damn russian bots are either friending me or commenting on something they clearly did not read. When I write something, I put thought into it. My work is not just words on the screen. I care about all of you, and I want to stay close to those who have become my good friend, even if to this day I havent had a chance to meet you in real life. Someday, I do hope to meet you if our paths cross.

I enjoyed posting here a lot but kind of stopped when crappy things happened in my life and Facebook was just faster, or I had no time to really write.

Love to all of you, hoping you want me to keep you on the list on the off chance I make a whole new journal.

I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go...

And watch the weather its HAWT out there!

Hard to say.... lets go with the classic... not that I feel specifically bad about it but its definitely a milestone moment....

Christmas Day, 1980 and Dad says he's leaving the family. The only reason he told us so informally was because my mom made him do it.

Due to the current state of the world, I probably won't get to do this, but visit the beach at the Red Sea so I could float in the salt water. Maybe I could do the same in Utah at the Great Salt Lake, too... I dunno..

A day at Strasburg railroad in Lancaster. We rode trains, we saw the museum and had lunch there.. I had a good day but I was 7 and haven't been there in..... 30 years..

Do you consider Christmas Snow to be snow that's at your house at Christmas even if it's from the day before or Christmas snow that actually snows on Christmas day whether it sticks on the ground or not? I prefer it to have snowed already with the green covered... as sometimes it is too warm to lay otherwise. We are getting some snow tomorrow and it is appreciably cold now... I hope some of the snow sticks around for the 25th.

Erin O'Brien Gardner It is hard to be thankful when it has been such a hard year for everybody, jobs, homes, relationships, and just keeping it together and not go slightly mad. I am thankful that we still have the means to take care of our family, and the love and support of the best friends I have to keep going when things are rough. I love you all!

I'd rather be with you than without you...

Win or lose, the Phillies and the Yankees are still alive. The Yanks might take this, but we have several points in our favor.

Phillies are 4-0 in their last 4 Wednesday games.
Well andy pettite is old and never pitched well off short rest when he was young. He hasnt pitched off short rest in 6 years.
Andy pitched on three days rest in 06. Regardless, he hasn't been feeling it especially in Game 3.
Then it was he hasnt won a start off short rest in 6 years.

Among other things, this makes me hopeful. Sunday made me want to die.. at least tonight.. if we go down.. we go down swinging!
