Hi everyone. I know long time, no update. Uni has been keeping me busy.
However, hopefully I will be more active here again. This past week I have been home sick with the flu.
I hate feeling sick, but I seem to be getting better which is great. I have had a McLeod's Daughters marathon this week, so expect some MD graphics (icons most likely). I have a tumblr here I post random banners/drabbles, so feel free to follow if you want.
I am at present addicted to classic who, and I really want to make the Tom Baker series 15 scarf now.

Home and Away fanfic

Okay so I kinda got this crazy idea of Dexter and Nicole from Home and Away together and then I decided to write this fic.

Summary: Dexter and Nicole end up talking one afternoon, when they are both a bit lonely.

Dexter Walker stood aimlessly staring at the piece of wood he had to chop. Scratching his chin he thought, ‘what kind of torture is this, I could break my arm just trying to chop this wood. But does Dad think about this? Nope, and he is a doctor!’

“Are you trying to chop that wood or stare it down until it cracks into two.” Nicole laughed as she walked up to the farm. Her laughter rang through the air and it was a joyous sound even to her, after feeling so miserable about the baby.

“Well here’s hoping. So what brings you here, Nicole, other than to watch me complete dad’s punishment.” Dexter smiled trying to lean casually on the axe.

Nicole smiled, brushing a hand through her mass of blonde hair, and motioned towards the farm house. “Is Marilyn and Sid home?”

“No, they went out to enjoy the sunshine and left me stranded here with only a pile of wood for company.” He growled gesturing to the pile of wood beside him.

“Oh, well I guess I should probably go then, leave you to your wood.” She laughed again and began to walk away.

“You don’t have to leave, the wood has been a rather silent companion, it would be much more interesting if my companion talked back.” Dexter laughed, touching her arm to pull her back.

“Thanks although I will probably bore you to tears. I am not very great company at the moment I’m afraid.” Nicole accepted his hand as he helped her into a chair on the back veranda of the farm house.
