AptEdit is a 32-bit full-featured text / hexadecimal professional editor for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista. It offers many powerful features to view and edit any files (text or binary). And it is also an excellent source editor for Web page authors and programmers. It offers files comparison,full Unicode, open/save files using specified encoding, customizable keyboard shortcuts, support keyboard mapping scheme,find disk file, function list,export/import user favorite settings, syntax highlighting, Find/Replace in files, ASCII to EBCDIC, EBCDIC to ASCII, column/Block edit mode, text convert to file, favorite files list, word-wrap, drag-and-drop, accessing document via FTP, syntax highlighting changed line numbers/changed bytes. For Web page writers, it offers seamless Web browser for previewing HTML pages and HTML toolbar. For programmers, it supports source code folding, matching brace, searching left/right brace in text mode. It also offers copying selected bytes as C/Java/Pascal data array, exporting HEX text to file, and viewing integer/float number in HEX mode. In-context help is available for all commands, and in-context menus pop up with the right mouse button.
