Truecaller is not working properly on the latest iPhone update. The app keeps asking me to enable truecaller which I have done.The call blocking and identification icon keeps disappearing. I have deleted the app, rebooted my phone, reinstalled the app and it still does not work properly. I also contacted Apple who advised me to contact the app developers. I have been a premium subscription subscriber for many years and would love to continue using this app if only it could work on iOS 14.5.1. Please help.

UPDATE. Since posting the review below, Truecaller have twice sent out notifications promising that the app “now works on iPhone”. Excited at this news, I re-subscribed only to find that nothing has changed and it still doesn’t work. The latest claim was a week ago, but I’m hesitant to fall for this again. Can anyone confirm if it really does work on iPhone?The paid version is the same as the free one, apart from not showing ads. Spam calls are not identified. I have all settings enabled as required, IOS 18.6.2 yet after the call you have to copy and paste the number into the app to identify the caller. Now it no longer identifies the numbers copied/pasted so you still can’t see who called. Also, I can’t set auto-block all spam calls. When selecting it opens the premium tab although I’m already a premium subscriber. Still a useless app for iPhone! Cancelling subscription for the final time.

Just a heads-up — to get the best out of Truecaller’s spam blocking on iOS, you’ll need to be on iOS 18.2 or later and keep the app version updated always.Make sure all five toggles are switched on under your iPhone's Call Blocking & Identification settings.Also, the blocking behaviour depends on what you’ve chosen in the app:- “All spammers” blocks every known spam call.- “Top spammers” only blocks the worst offenders.If you've already checked all this and things still aren't working right, feel free to drop us a line at support@truecaller.com — we're happy to dig in and sort it out for you!/RN
Dual / E Sims

So I’ve used the free and paid versions and the experience have been the same, I still get calls and only after I’ve completed the call does it actually show whether it was a true caller or a spam call. The second problem I have with this app, even with the paid version it doesn’t cater for Smart phones that use dual sims or e-sims.I’ve had 2 numbers for the past 20 years and whilst I had separate phones to manage them (work and Private) new phones have eliminated the need for me to carry more than 1 phone around. Therefore eliminating the need to have multiple true caller profiles.The last issue that I have is, why do I need to make true caller my default phone and messaging app when my device already has these features included with a lot more functionality than what true caller offer other than screen a call or message

Its a useful app & works most of the time. Quite often when you try to search for a number, it appears to be "logged off" & advises that you need to "login". Even though, I have it always running in the background, it only provides number recognition once in while. It often does not recognise numbers that it had previously recognised. For the last month, it has not been able to find any of the numbers I have searched on. I recently installed on a new device, whose number I have not shared with anyone. Immediately after the installation, I began receiving 3-5 spam calls a day. Is this app still worth paying for? I am really beginning to doubt this as well as the trustworthiness of the developers.
