Among the many similar apps out there with ChatGPT, this one stands out in particular. With many substantial features, I love the use of Microsoft TTS (text to speech) with 22 choices of US English voices, 15 choices of UK, and other languages, all provided free of charge for normal consumer usage. This breaks away from the iPhone’s rigid synthesized voices , and when used in conjunction with the auto-reading button, OpenCat makes conversing with ChatGPT a more interactive, fluent and fun experience! And I look forward to future releases that will harness ChatGPT’s Whisper API to improve not only reading, but also listening capabilities of iPhone!

This app is everything thing I was looking for. Worth the price for the features you get. And with my own api key It’s just what I need. Cloud saves between devices is a must for me. Switching between my iPad and iPhone is common place. I only have one issue. It’s present on this current release and a previous version. On my phone (11 Pro Max) typing on the keyboard is very laggy. Like borderline unusable laggy. I can get almost a full word ahead of the app before it registers. On my iPad it’s perfect. So my criticism only applies to the iPhone app. This is the only app I’ve had problems with. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Other than that, it’s well worth the cost. If you have your own api key.
