Recap: Workforce Readiness Fair Last week, more than 1,000 juniors from our district’s three high schools participated in the Workforce Readiness Fair. This annual event gives students the opportunity to apply the skills they’ve learned in the classroom and to prepare for their future careers. Six Appoquinimink School District students selected as Secretary of Education Scholars Each year, Delaware’s Secretary of Education honors select students from the current graduating class for their exemplary work ethic, dedication, and accomplishments both in and out of the classroom. These Secretary of Education Scholars demonstrate qualities critical to making a significant difference in their own lives and in the lives of others. Students are selected by their principals based on their academic records and community service. The number of scholars from each school is based on enrollment. Odessa High School presents 'The SpongeBob Musical'!

Odessa High School presents 'The SpongeBob Musical'! Are you ready, kids? The Odessa High School Theatre Department is reporting for duty at Bikini Bottom with its upcoming production of The SpongeBob Musical, a bubbly, optimistic, and unapologetically nautical stage spectacular that proves imagination is always better under the sea. Performances pop up like jellyfish on March 13, 14 (ASL Interpreted Performance), 20 at 7 p.m., and March 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the Mainstage at the Fairview Performing Arts Center. Based on the beloved Nickelodeon series, The SpongeBob Musical follows SpongeBob SquarePants — fry cook, bubble blower, and professional optimist — as he teams up with Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Squidward Tentacles, and the whole Bikini Bottom gang to stop an erupting volcano from turning their pineapple-perfect home into lava soup.
