About SMS Notifications
LeadMachine offers optional SMS text message notifications to help you stay informed about your CRM activity. This page explains how our SMS program works and your rights as a subscriber.
1. Program Description
LeadMachine SMS Notifications is a service-related messaging program operated by MistaJohn, Inc. that sends automated text messages to users who have opted in through their account settings.
1.1 Message Types
When you opt in to SMS notifications, you may receive the following types of messages:
- New Lead Alerts - Notifications when a new lead is assigned to you
- Lead Status Updates - Updates when leads you're working with change status
- Daily Activity Summaries - Optional daily recap of your CRM activity (if enabled)
- Account Notifications - Important service-related messages about your account
1.2 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and notification preferences. Typical users receive 1-20 messages per month, but this may vary based on:
- Number of leads assigned to you
- Your notification preferences
- Your team's activity level
2. How to Opt In
SMS notifications require your explicit consent. You can opt in through the following method:
Account Settings Opt-In
- Log in to your LeadMachine account at app.leadmachine.fyi
- Navigate to your Profile page
- Click the Settings tab
- Locate the SMS Notifications section
- Toggle the "Enable SMS Notifications" switch to ON
- Select which notification types you want to receive
Important: By enabling SMS notifications, you are providing express written consent to receive automated text messages from LeadMachine at the mobile phone number associated with your account.

3. How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time using any of these methods:
Reply STOP
Reply STOP to any message you receive from us
Account Settings
Toggle off SMS notifications in your Profile Settings
Contact Support

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt back in.

5. Costs & Carrier Information
Message and Data Rates May Apply
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to messages you receive. Check with your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
LeadMachine does not charge for SMS notifications, but your carrier may charge standard messaging rates. SMS notifications are available on all major US carriers including:
- AT&T
- Verizon
- T-Mobile
- Sprint
- And other participating carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Privacy & Data
Your phone number and SMS preferences are handled according to our Privacy Policy.
6.1 What We Collect
- Mobile phone number (from your profile)
- SMS opt-in/opt-out status
- Timestamp and IP address of consent
- Notification preferences
6.2 How We Use Your Data
- To send you the SMS notifications you requested
- To process opt-out requests
- To maintain compliance records
6.3 We Do NOT
- Sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing
- Send messages unrelated to your LeadMachine account
- Share your data with third parties except as needed to deliver messages (Twilio)

These records are maintained for compliance and audit purposes.
8. Terms Updates

- Emailing users with active SMS subscriptions
