In Memory of Essie Fletcher

Essie Mae Fletcher, lovingly known as Es, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, from complications of dementia. A devoted mother and grandmother, she found her greatest joy in family gatherings, traveling, and volunteering for the fraud division with AARP.

Essie’s connection to NOAH was through her daughter Cynthia Henton, a long time NOAH member. She loved supporting Cynthia by being her greatest advocate as Cynthia went through school, college, and life.

Essie attended several NOAH conferences where she instantly became a resource for other parents of children with albinism both young and old.

In honor of Essie’s life and love for family, the Henton family has chosen NOAH to receive gifts in her memory. Your donation will carry forward the spirit of connection and support that meant so much to her.
