Are donations tax-deductible in Canada and the US?

Yes and yes.

In Canada, Apologetics Canada Ministries is a registered charity (#79927 1143 RR0001).

In the US, Apologetics Canada operates as a ministry project of Friends of The Great Commission (FGC). Our FGC Project number is F793. All donations made through FGC are tax-deductible in the United States. Go to our US donation page and make your donation there or you can go directly to our project page at friendsgc.com.

How are my funds used?

Funds designated to support Apologetics Canada Ministries (ACM) staff are not directly given to that staff member. The funds are given to ACM and are used to pay employment expenses for that particular staff member. ACM sets salary levels and retains control of all funds.

Please also note, designated funds will first be expended as per the donor's designation, but any excess funds after the fulfillment of expenses will be used to help ACM achieve our charitable purposes.

How do I update my donation payment information?

IN CANADA:

For monthly credit card donations please follow this link to update your credit card information or the amount of your recurring donation.
For pre-authorized debit donations, click on and download this form, fill it out with your new account information, and send it to Nancy at [email protected].

IN THE US:

You can update your payment information on the Friends of the Great Commission website. Go to the donation page and scroll down to find the information update form.

How seriously to do you take your financial responsibility?

ACM seeks to operate at the highest level of integrity. For this reason, we participate in a self-imposed audit of our financial statements.
