If <jats:italic>G<\/jats:italic> is hamiltonian, then <jats:italic>G<\/jats:italic>\u25a1<jats:italic>K<\/jats:italic><jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub> is also hamiltonian but the converse does not hold in general. Having a hamiltonian prism is shown to be an interesting relaxation of being hamiltonian.
