About the Financial Bridge V5 API

Overview

Strata provides a set of Financial APIs for partners to retrieve financial data that can be used to integrate with external accounting systems. This page outlines the details of the web service calls available for v5 of the Financial Bridge API.

Version 5 of the Financial Bridge API is for integrations with Strata SBMS systems. It enables integrators to execute the following operations:

  • Get Master Data records to send to and store in an external system.
  • Post Master Data from an external system to create and update Master Data from an external system.
  • Get order data for client billing and/or vendor invoicing in an external system.
  • Post order data from an external buying system into Strata SBMS.
  • Get client bill data into an external system in order to invoice clients for payment for media campaigns.
  • Get vendor invoice data into an external system in order to release payment to a media vendor.
  • Post vendor invoice match information from and external system into Strata SBMS

Additional API Details

Fields named ID are context sensitive (ID within Vendor call is Vendor ID, while ID within GET Client Call is the Client ID). IDs are internal SBMS identifiers and cannot be updated. Fields which are Codes can be updated and are intended to be references to external system codes.

Attributes

Creatable, updatable, and obtainable attributes can be included in the request body during creation, update requests, and retrieve requests, respectively. Including unsupported attributes in requests will result in errors as not all entities contain calls for all attributes.
