Indeed Barnes’s short collection ‘The Lemon table’ is little known when I recommend it - read it a couple of times, so now a reread is due. Carys Davies’s new novella ‘clear’ gripped me, read twice consecutive, still unraveling the final ambiguity. Interesting selection, thank you.
