He's got his 9-5, then on weekends he valets cars. He got called in tonight to work. It was like 10 degrees outside and he worked out in that with a smile on his face. I felt so bad for him all night. When he finally got home at Like 10pm I had Caleb in the carrier and was cleaning. Caleb was so happy to see him. So I took the carrier off and dj started to engage Caleb. Who was so excited to see daddy as you can see.

Dj is a good man who takes care of us. He is very loved and appreciated.

Posted via LiveJournal app for iPad.

Every wish she made, on a star, in a fountain, on a dandelion puff, were all for a brother. Every prayer included that desire. Long after I gave up she hoped and believed.

I got pregnant when she was about 7 or so. We told her right away and when I miscarried it broke her. She was devastated. We didn't tell her till I was 12 weeks along with Caleb so as to avoid that this time. Here is the video, in case anyone missed it: (I AM NOT CURRENTLY PREGNANT, that was when we announced we were preggers w Caleb.

http://youtu.be/dUDNU2kFtvg

She was so excited. Can you tell? Trinity being speechless never happens.

Now she is a big sister. And she's amazing. She plays with him, cuddles him and dotes on him. And he loves the heck out of her. They are so so cute together

Today I was getting some pears ready to feed him and she really wanted to do it. So I let her. She did well and Caleb loved it.

My first born child is amazing. She always was, but Caleb is bringing out so much in her. They need each other. And to trinity, he is the answer to every wish, every prayer, and every hope. He is her proof that god loves her and hears her. And that is amazing.

Posted via LiveJournal app for iPad.

I feel like we haven't really seen each other event though we all occupy the same house. So after church today we just had a cuddle fest. Kids, cats, everyone. Dj and I got snuggle time while Caleb slept and trinity did homework. Me, dj and trinity got to cuddle. Then the cat jumped in on the action. Caleb woke up and we all piled under a blanket. We watched anime and just chatted and hung out.

I love this family I have :)

Posted via LiveJournal app for iPad.

I never in a million years thought me and Lisa would be pregnant together. When trinity was a baby she wasn't even dating her husband. When she got married and started having kids trinity was in elementary school. We were always in different stages in life, and that was ok. All of a sudden we are both toting around babies, tired, and trying to figure out how to get it all done. All while trying to be a good mom and wife. It's awesome.

Congratulations Lisa on your little man. I'm thrilled to be walking this road with you this time!

I would also like to point out that even though Alex is a mommas boy, he fell asleep on me. Clearly he loves his auntie April. Kid's got good taste :)

Posted via LiveJournal app for iPad.

The fact that its coming down today is amazing. It was done during a massive cleaning spree. I've been exhausted for like a month. I slept a lot today and found functionality. So cleaning happened. Trinity was charged with taking the ornaments off the tree . She then showed me these two little pretzels. When she was little we used to make ornaments every year for the tree. One year her and I both made a pretzel. She thought it was so cute and she thought hers looked pretty silly now. I told her it was adorable. She hopes we resume the tradition next year and I informed her we certainly would, since we will be back to no breakable things on the tree due to baby insanity.

Also my living room isn't making me twitch for the first time in forever. So happy.

Posted via LiveJournal app for iPad.

New Journal

Welcome to my new journal.

The advent of Facebook has changed how I use social media quite a bit, and not in a good way. When used Livejournal more I could keep track of all my entries and look back years previous and remember what I was doing. Though I find it easier and more fun to Facebook, I miss the journaling aspect of Livejournal.

Also, I fail at posting much. And I miss it. What I do like to do, is post pictures. My iPhone has made this super easy.

I started a 365 once. I made it 6 months before I stopped. I really enjoyed it. I paid more attention in the moment of each day trying to find the picture that would document an entire day. It made me more present. I paid more attention to the little things. I can look back to my 365 and remember so much more because of how I documented it.

So I made this journal. A picture a day with commentary. So I'm journaling and posting a picture at the same time.

Feel free to follow/friend me, all posts will be public.

I make no promises that you will find this interesting. It's bound to be full of kids and food and just life in general. The point is that I will find it interesting and enjoyable. I do this for me, and all of you are along for the ride. You are welcome passengers.
