I'm running Apache 2.0.48 and I've got the virtual mass hosting set up, but there is slight limitation I need to find a work around for.
I would like to set up some sort of rewrite or SetEnvIf to strip the leeding www off of host requests, so I can just have a domain.com directory instead of also needing a www.domain.com.
I don't want to have the hosts directory cluttered with symbolic link that people have to remember to create or remove, so I'm hoping someone can tell me how to get get the server to strip the leading www so it translate http://www.domain.com/ to just http://domain.com/ and will work with the mass virtual hosting.
Thanks! :-)
