Top Ten Anime OP/ED Meme

What are you favorite anime OP and EDs?

10. Bomb A Head || Tenjou Tenge OP

So... I've never actually seen this anime. I got into a habbit as of late where I watch Top 20 anime intros. It's a nice way to see some intros of animes that I might be interested in, and just have catchy music in the background without knowing that much :3 Every once in a while there is a song that just jumps out at me, and this is one of them. I've never watched it, it looks horrible, and I don't think I'm ever going to watch it. But this song is catchy and I love it!

9. Zaankoku na Tenshi no Thesis || Neon Genesis Evangelion OP

At least I've watched a few episodes of this anime, but I haven't got past episode five :( However, I loooove this song, I love the video, and it grabbed me enough to download it! Looking all this over, I think I have a thing for shrill Japanese singers. You'll see :3

8. The World || Death Note OP

I'm starting to watch the Death Note anime, but I love the manga :) I don't know, this intro sold me on watching the anime. It's interesting, tons of religious imagery, and is just fun to listen to! I don't really care for the second OP, but... I'm ashamed to say that it's growing on me. But still, I like this one better, and I won't put the same series in two different slots.

7. Motteke! Sailor Fuku || Lucky Star OP

I'm ashamed. It's catchy, popcorn, fluff music, there's no getting around it! It's just earworm that I looooove and... spent last quarter trying to learn the dance in the mirror when my roomie was at class :3 I was getting kind of okay at it too... in case you were wondering ;) This song just makes me happy, especially when it breaks into the singing singing part with the pompoms and all that craziness :')

6. Yui || Bleach 5 OP

This was my first hard decision. Weirdly enough, this isn't one of the more talked about Bleach openings, but I really love it. I have the first... twelve on itunes, and this is the one that I listen to the most. It's just catchy, has a great beat, a great build up... I just can't get enough of it. I'm not too hot on the video hence...

(6 Runner Up) Ichirin no Hana || Bleach 3 OP

A runner up award :3 Like I said, I couldn't put two Bleach songs on the list, so I've got this one as runner up. I'll just say it, the way that the video matches up with the song, and the song itself? It's awesome. Video wise, it's a much better OP then my favorite. However, I don't like the song quite as much so... runner up for you buddy.

5. Minna no Peace || Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann 2 ED

I love this anime, and this is by far my favorite OP/ED from the show. Whenever I listen to this I feel like every one of those voices is cheering me on and it just... fills me with so much confidence, I love it ♥ The OP was tempting too, but this one has better lasting value to me.

4. Sign || Naruto OP

I only recently saw this opening in comparison to some of the others, but I really like it. I love a song that has a good climax, that builds to something amazing. And this... the somber opening, the build up, and then the moment where Jiraya comes out of the water on the giant frogs back, that's the part that I can listen to over and over again. It just gives me goosebumps, and the video is beautiful with it.

(4 Runner Up) Bacchkoi || Naruto ED

... This is a crack song, but you might notice something in this list, I loooove it when the characters dance. I could watch this video over and over again, and it earns serious props for that. It's hilarious! I mean... come on, GAI AND LEE ARE DANCING WHILE ALL THE GIRLS SHAKE THEIR BUTTS, it's adorable. So Honorable mention goes out to the best Naruto ED.

3. Silky Heart || Toradora

No secret, I love Toradora, and I love the second half of the show angst and all. This song just captures it perfectly, their conflicted feelings, their realization that they need to move forward, and the fact that at the end of the day... they're all friends. It has a great climax, and the moment where Minori leaps down the stairs gets me every time.

2. Super Driver || The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya OP

I was really not sure about Haruhi when I first started watching, but if something made me keep coming back, it was the music. If 'God Knows' would qualify for the list, it would be right here. But I love this song, it's perky, it's fun, it's inspiring, and just... a blast. Don't get me wrong, I love the first season OP too, but something about this one is more fun. Pretty much, you can't go wrong with Haruhi OPs... even if they are earworms :3

(2 Runner Up) Hare Hare Yukai || The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ED

1. Inori no Kanata || Tales of Symphonia OVA ED

I can not get enough of this video. It's so emotional, and carries so much weight. It has great climaxes, great breaks in the intensity at the right moments... And the choirs and the epic orchestra, this just screams epic. While the OVA might have issues, I feel like it captures the emotion of the game so well, and this video just captures all of the sadness and tension that exists at this point in the game, I can't get enough of it. (and yes, I get goosebumps at the stills of Colette laughing :'( IT'S NOT FUNNY)

Haha, but I can't believe that I haven't posted in nearly a month :3 On the upside though, I've gotten my RP grove back! I'm like Stella, but whiter and with a less socially acceptable hobby~ But I'm back into tagging back, not letting threads go, and I've gotten some new interesting CR which is just wonderful. My Colette muse has been especially crazy active lately XD I need to get Maya some new CR to get excited about.

But speaking of RP... you guys need to stop me 3: I've made an account for Dahlia Hawthorne (brbeatingmen), and the application is nearly done ldhsg;lhas /makes sad faces. I've never been able to handle five characters, but I really really want to play a villain, and I love that crazy redhead. But I really shouldn't play two characters from the same cannon but... but... hnnnnng, whatever. I'll replay cases of the third game, and see if I can write a good first person sample, I'll decide off of that~

Um, in other news I beat Mass Effect 2? Haha, it took me like a week, and I think I'm going to play some more today. After I do homework though! This weekend was so completely unproductive, it's sad. And I know I'll have to write my program sometime this week, just need to find time to do it XD

I made the perfect toast today! :3 ♥♥♥♥

My toaster is retarded, and has no numbers on it, just little smudge things that used to be numbers long long ago. So I never know what setting it's on and I always seem to get charcoal or vaguely slightly warm.

BUT NOT TODAY, I HAVE A DELICIOUS TOASTED ENGLISH MUFFIN :D a happy golden brown with rasberry jam asdlkghash ♥

Heeeeeeeeeeey, raise the roof! It's palpable's birthday~ Now this is an epic day of epic wonder. You might be wondering, why? Well, Emmy is a truly special individual, she is someone that I can honestly say is amazing. I look at this picture above and I think, I wish I was the Teddy hanging out in that car with Emmy!Chie, and we'd party all night long sippin' frappachinos.

But in all seriousness, Emmy is someone that just has a good soul. She's a kind of person that you don't always meet in this world, someone who really cares about everyone around her, who cares about her friends, and will go out of her way to help them. That's the reason why I'm sure there are going to be posts everywhere celebrating her birthday, because they all know she will post something for them right back, and they just can't contain their love. That kind of kindness is not everywhere these days, which is probably why there are so many people that simply adore Emmy. She's bone sweet to quote a book, someone who is just kind and wonderful and so amazing.

Another thing you will notice right away is her infectious cheer. It's very rare that you find her in a bad mood, and you know if she is upset, she won't be stuck there for long. You talk to her, comment on her entries, anything and there is just this overwhelming sense of joy after. But you can tell it isn't forced, it isn't fake, it's just... excess happiness I guess. Enough to come out and help cheer up everyone around her.

Not only that, but girl is talented to boot. If you've seen her artwork, you know she is going to go places, and has a future ahead of her in the animation business that is just star studded :) Not only is she talented with art, but she is one of the best roleplayers I have ever had the pleasure of playing with :) She will always be the Ty Lee to my short lived Mai, and I wouldn't trade the time playing with her for anything.

Something else that stands out about Emmy is how welcoming she is. I remember when I first joined the Avatar crew, Emmy was the one that invited me to the chat, was wonderful and friendly from the first moment we spoke, and did everything she could to make me feel welcomed and included. It meant the world to me, and I still think fondly of those chats :')

I guess the main point I'm trying to get to, is that I really admire you Emmy (yes, I'm changing tenses :P). When I think about what I want to be, I really honestly do think of you. Your kindness, your cheer, your talent, your love, just... everything. I know so many people around you feel the same, and I know you are so loved. So whenever you might start to feel sad, don't. If you feel inferior, don't. Because simply and truly, you are an amazing person, and I feel so blessed to have met you. I'm so happy to be your friend, and it really is an honer. You brighten my days, make me happy, and I admire you so much. So be happy, have a wonderful birthday surrounded by all the people who love you. You deserve it more then anyone I can think of, and I know you will have a wonderful year full of joy, because when you have as much joy in your heart as you do, there is nothing but good things in store.

Now go back to your day of partying and having a ballin' good time. Thank you so much, and I really do from the bottom of my heart hope you have a very happy birthday ♥♥♥.
