Explanation – The Project Triangle

Every project operates within three constraints: speed, quality, and cost. It’s a trade-off of time, skill, and resources, and those trades have real consequences. These are the constraints of getting work done.Understanding this trade-off before starting a project sets realistic expectations and prevents disappointment. Choose what matters most for your situation, and be honest about the choices you’re making.

Fast + Good
This will be expensive. Rush jobs require other work to be put aside, or extra people on the job. Quality takes time, and compressing that timeline means paying for experience and focus.

Fast + Cheap
This will be poor quality. When you need it quick but don’t want to pay, corners have to be cut. Completely custom solutions aren't achievable. Something will get done, but it won’t be top work.

Good + Cheap
This will be slow. Quality on a budget means trading money for time. Longer schedules, working around other commitments. The work gets done right, but it will require your patience.
