The Style Edit: I Scrolled This Week So You Don't Have To
Restocks, sale finds and my ever-expanding pendant wishlist...
As I switch to my summer schedule, these posts will be unlocked for everyone to read and a little lighter than usual. They’ll be back to bumper-size in the autumn.
But first, a few back-in-stock/sale/fun new colourway updates…

Last week I ordered the LESET Yoko Mini Tank Dress* in a heatwave-induced sweat, and update: I’m keeping it. In fact, it’s exactly what you’d want to wear when you’d rather be naked. It’s floaty, but not cut in a super feminine way, à la DÔEN (another update - I returned absolutely everything I ordered from them - I’m just not a DÔEN gal!). It’s short, but not scandalous (I’m 5’7” for reference) and the best bit?! POCKETS. I’m no longer panicked that next time it’s hotter than the sun here, I’ll have nothing to wear.
I really went down a Reformation hole this week, bear with me!!

My Laoli shopping list is growing by the day, with new additions this week. Namely:
I did order the AGOLDE Rhoda Pleated Shorts* that I mentioned in last week’s newsletter (although they are on preorder, so they will be with me by the end of the month). But I spotted these black denim shorts* in a recent newsletter from Ardas, and they looked utterly fab on her. That slight kick out at the hem is what I love in shorts in general, and I’ve missed having a handful of denim pairs in my wardrobe. Anyone have any sizing intel on them?

Your style-related smorgasbord for the week:
Kendall Flavin dug through the archives and bought us a gem of a post in the form of ‘So You Bought The Viral Drawstring Pants. Now What?’ Now what indeed! So many new ideas to try with the trousers that you now (inevitably) own.
There are very few brand founders who do Substack well. It takes someone who truly loves the platform, enjoys connecting with readers in that more OG blogging way, and does so regularly. I’m forever touting Jessie Randall’s newsletter ‘Jessie Loves’ around in meetings as the crème de la crème of the category. She’s the founder of Loeffler Randall, and you can just tell that she really enjoys writing and is a true curator, someone who you really do want to know more about. Like, HOW did she pack for a 15-day trip around Europe in a carry-on!!? I am in awe.
I mean, I pretty much screengrabbed the entirety of Kelly Williams’ latest post, ‘Elevate(rs) and Casualizers’.

Also, thanks to Kelly’s post, I found a new IG obsession - Yvonne Hammervold 👇
If there’s one person I’m happy to take hot weather outfit notes from, it’s Kelly Klein. She lives in Miami!! She gets it!! Sidenote: Hey Mrs Solomon is also an MIA resident who kindly shares her work on dressing in trying temps! Her post ‘How To Make Summer Outfits Feel More Interesting’ does what it says on the tin.
I love nothing more than watching someone enter a flow state as they try on outfits. If anyone knows of more videos in this genre, please do add them in the comments because I find them so soothing to watch! Loved this one from Sarah - she’s a cute follow on IG too.
That’s it for the week! I’ll be back on Sunday with the debrief from my latest session with Reva because I’ve been dying to let you in on what we got up to. Until then x
Thanks for being part of The Wardrobe Edit. If you like what you read, I’d truly appreciate it if you liked, shared, or left a comment - it makes all the difference.

So You Want to Dress Like a Teenage Boy, Huh?
In the winter, I want to feel chic; in the summer, I want to feel chill. Usually, that shows up as the addition of beaded necklaces, a few more undone buttons than usual, and linen all day, every day (it’s the 10% of my wardrobe that puts in WORK). But this year, it feels different.
The 10% of Your Wardrobe That Shifts Your Summer Style
June is when I feel my style start to thaw out. Throughout autumn and winter, and even into spring, I’m pretty happy playing in my sandbox of neutrals with what you’d probably deem more timeless pieces. Straight-leg jeans, simple flats, wool coats, cashmere jumpers - channelling my three words à la

I love the way that little dress looks on you - it feels like your essence distilled into dress form. Writing this from Boston where a) it's currently hotter than Miami WTAF and b) I miss Kelly! XOXO
Yvonne is my new style icon; I’m so glad you loved her too.
