So like. Apart from having a driving lesson today~ I started earnest wrestling with my TIGER OF DOOM(TM).

Anyway, I spent the first half of the afternoon sewing lining. Then realizing that the material got too heavy to floof properly afterwards. =\ Cue the second half of the afternoon removing lining ;A;

But despite that stupid mistake, I managed to start detangling the freakish pile of gold that had been sitting on my desktop STARING at me for the past oh, three weeks? XD;;

8pm => The job begins \o/

10pm => By this time, I had started getting up and boiling crap for my paper mache at like... ten minute intervals =D;; *crosses fingers and hope that works out as well*

11.30pm => Went to shower before retackling it again =3

12 midnight => The almost finished product \o/ It's such an improvement after ironing~ IT EVEN LOOKS SHINIER |D;;

1am => Added clouds and more flarey things on the sides |Db And thus, it is now FINALLY A FINISHED PRODUCT [except you know. NOT REALLY. Still missing two lines but you know. DETAILS ;A;]

It doesn't look exactly like the thing because I didn't have a right sized printout to work from so like. IT IS A BIT RETARDED AND FAIL. But whatever. I FOUGHT A TIGER AND WON \o/

Samurai Warriors 3 apparently has an English page I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT =O

New feature updates include the inclusion [or re-inclusion] of the create a character mode~

And something completely new, called the Murasame Castle Mode. I have no idea, but it appears to be a crossover with a pretty old game.

Nazo no Murasamejo's main character, Takamaru, appears in here as well, in a much less pixelated form. He's playable or can be the second fighter in your group [I THINK, I THINK =3]

And introducing a Historical Play Mode thingy. Which is like a timeline, but playable? IDK, read the picture? I don't make much sense most of the time =D;;; *facepalm*

Andddddddddddddd. Not to forget this new-fangled, tricky thing xD;

Yeah. ANYWAY. 2 player mode is back as well~ WITH SPECIAL ADDITIONS. LIKE THE TWO PERSON STEED.

Koei's own caption says it all~ \o/ XD And don't forget the new addition to musou mode [or Samurai's answer to Dynasty 6's Renbu]. They call it... SPIRIT CHARGE \o/

Which apparently can combine with your musou to form an ULTIMATE MUSOU. Or something like that. As Yukimura will demonstrate? =3

Ahahahahaha. Beyond that, there's no real other changes? Except for the expanded character list [35 playable characters! But like, several of them are missing Musou modes =\ ] AND apparently you do not unlock characters merely by completing musou modes anymore~ =D;

Instead. You buy them. With rice.

Which apparently you earn with um missions. In the Murasame Mode and the Historical Mode. OR SOMETHING. I am so amused. \o/ But then I'm easily amused SO~ =3

Have to go check with my order with EB =\ They haven't called me yet and I'm now worrying a bit. Especially since they said Australasia should've stocked them by the 10th of June.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Five days. Until I leave ~~for hell~~. We [the sister and I] are apparently getting bundled off to a tour group for a good 5 days once we get to Shanghai. But in repayment, WE MAY be attending the Sixth ICG Shanghai Expo. Which is like, one of Shanghai's annual Anime/Manga/Gaming Conventions.

The awesome thing is? This thing is like... 4 ACRES IN SIZE. And the estimated amount of people they're expecting over the 10 days or so? 30 MILLION.

Ah. IDK anymoreeee.

I have this Lolworthy appreciation for Zhou Yu's actor at the moment [out of costume]. He's hilarious [and used to be a model apparently =3] and IS TOTALLY BUFFER THAN LU BU which is massive LULZ in itself.

But like, mimicking the actions of his horse on national TV? |Db Win. He was also all like 'Before, when I was younger, I used to like Zhuge Liang. Now, it's more like *low voice, clenched teeth* "Zhuge Liang >|" and about how the actors, during filming, congregated into groups according to 'kingdom' and used to discuss each other. As in Wei would all be like 'I bet Shu is doing so and so and so' and Shu would be like 'I bet Wei are discussing us right now =3' etc etc.

AND THEN HE BAGGED SHU!! ~~which is probably why I like him a lot better now~~. Da Qiao was there and they called her on to sit with Zhou Yu onstage. She's really tall and pretty and did this lovely dance. So then the two hosts were like to Zhou Yu, 'So, who do you like better now? Da Qiao or Xiao Qiao?' and Zhou Yu was kinda like '=| Do I have to answer?' but he managed to get out of it fairly well by saying 'Oh hay, I have new found appreciation for Sun Shang Xiang and Diao Chan ;D'. Smart boy.

Then when Liu Bei, Zhang Fei and Guan Yu's actors came up [separately from Zhou Yu], they were like 'We wanted to hold a drinking competition between everyone from Shu, Wei and Wu. But then we never got to because we realized that Zhang Fei alone could drink all the rest of them under the table |Db." At which Guan Yu added 'Two boxes of beer is all it would have taken.' xD

There was also a part when the hosts mentioned to the three brothers about how Zhou Yu was talking them down before. To which Guan Yu was all like 'I guess? I mean, us 'borrowing' Jing Zhou from them was probably kind of objectionable. But then, poor Shu, we had no home! Jing Zhou was a great place for us to live and then Wu wanted to take it away from us, so in the end, I think Wu were the ones being unkind \o/'

Inter-kingdom rivalry. I like~ \o/ Pity no one from Wei showed up D= But I guess having Cao Cao sitting around ~~a campfire~~ on a talk show-esque thing with Sun Quan and Liu Bei would've been quite hilarious in itself.

Ahahahaha. Speaking of hilarious, Lu Bu's actor. Also a lot of LULZ there.

He was talking about the period of time on set when he was required as the main actor [ie. the entire day's worth of filming was focused on him]. So he was like 'After the first couple of days, I thought to myself, I can totally do this! And asked some of the others where the gym was. I wanted to work out after the day's filming. Then I caught the martial arts instructor shaking his head in pity, as if saying 'poor boy, you have no idea what you're in for'. By the third day of filming, I was asking for the nearest massage parlor and by the fifth day, I was asking for the nearest hospital.' And he mentioned his horse 'Red Hare' and how it was really temperamental and how he got thrown off a lot so by the end of filming he was totally PRO at knowing how to fall properly from a horse xDDD;

FINALLY SAT DOWN AND WENT THROUGH THE REST OF MITSUHIDE'S MUSOU AND THEN COMPLETED SAIKA'S. NOBUNAGA IS NOW MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE. Will make sure he's the most levelled up character by the time I'm finished with him |Db Randomly, what's the max level? 50? 70? 100?? All these games have different max levels and it confuses me |D;;;;; BUT HE WILL BE AWESOME AND UNBEATABLE BY THE TIME I PLAY HIS DREAM MODE. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

I mean. Yes. Been playing a lot of Samurai Warriors 2 these couple of weeks. I think I've given up on Dynasty 6. It lagssssssss ;; *sob sob*

Also been overdosing on Zhou Tai/Sun Quan. I've decided that if you don't like Zhou Tai/Sun Quan, then you obviously spend most of your spare time stepping on kittens or something. They are ridiculously cute together. Even if I don't even like either by themselves as a character |D;;; OTL

I also have a strange =3 need for Magoichi/Hideyoshi. Magoichi's ending was really tragic. WHO THE HELL DOES THAT AT THE END OF THEIR OWN STORY MODE? But his opening was really 10000000x WIN. Oh god. Who knew that such manly men were such teenage GIRLS inside? A secret handshake? REALLY GUYS xDDD;

Nobunag's English VA is alright ~~I like his Orochi one better?~~. BUT OMG. I YOUTUBED HIS JAPANESE VERSION CUTSCENES. AND AND AND AND... And I finally realized why the fandom ships Nobunaga/Mitsuhide so hard. [I think I cried at it. It's like my SW counterpart to DW's Zhou Yu/Sun Ce.] WTF Mitsuhide, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE FEATHERS ON YOUR COSTUME. STOP THROWING THEM UP AT EVERY CUTSCENE OPPORTUNITY =|

My sister now keeps going on about her OTHER OTP => Mitsunari/Yukimura. I.... I am amused. But I can live with it as long as I can keep my Masamune/Kanetsugu |Db [She admits to that pairing being fairly acceptable as well XD;]

Um. Just a general list of what's been happening in my boring uneventful existance:

- Dealing with end of semester assignments and upcoming exams

- Trying to actually SAVE some money for things other than Hetalia and/or cosplay

- Desperately trying to gather some motivation to finish the list of TO-DO's that you'll find at the end |D

- Attempting to SPEND LESS MONEY on frivolous things. Like wigs. And material. And Hetalia. And doujinshi >.>

I have also realized I have no life whatsoever! <3 AMAZING.

So I accompanied a friend to an [unknown's] 22nd birthday party last Saturday night at SYN Bar or something like that in the city~

It was a somewhat interesting experience. Let's just say I don't quite understand the point of a 'bar' where you have to scream to have yourself heard in a conversation with someone less than half a meter away =|

Highlights? I WROTE MEMO NOTES IN MY PHONE THE ENTIRE NIGHT. I decided to transcribe them here so you can really SEE HOW LITTLE LIFE I HAVE.

2100 - Not allowed into bar. Standing outside. Bored. Birthday boy didn't realize bar opens at 10pm. Dolt.

2130 - Still standing here. It's like a back alley. Should I fear for my life?

2200 - Finally inside bar. Paid 12 bucks for entry fee. Hm. Vodka in a Lemon Lime Bitters ruins the Lemon Lime effect. Headache.

2235 - Headache builds. Music's loud. Nice decor though. I wanna take this chair home.

???? - There's a dude. He's wearing all white. He SHINES in the disco light. Fascinating.

2300 - Headache is worse. Contemplating the joys of a silent home. Probably will blog and laugh about this later. But currently suffering.

???? - Chair is still comfortable though shakey from the bass boom effect. Lights change color too. Sweet. Overwhelming need to sleep. Headache? Pretty bad.

???? - Have noticed the sadness/no life factor of blogging on a phone with no internet access. Decided to keep doing it once I realized I don't have a life.

???? - Disappointed over the fact that it's a mostly Westerner's bar. Needs more Asians. Wonder if a wander down Little Bourke Street will reticify the error much.

???? - Can feel the vibration even after I moved to this bench. Interesting.

2329 - Realized for the billionth time that I am a loser of the first order.

2330 - I mean. There is no life. Then there is me.

2340 - Ooh. Disco ball. Shiny.

???? - FBing via friend's Blackberry. Yay for bored people.

???? - Oh god! I contaminated her didn't I?

???? - Place sucks. Toilet is kinda, sorta out of order... WAIT. How did TWO of them manage to fit in there?

???? - Is it Twelve yet?

0000 - WOOT! Twelve. We're OFF!

My attention span is so short, I can't even keep up a mini hiatus~ =D;

There's still two and a bit days left till fic is due. I'm still typing away slowly~ =3

BUT THE ENTIRE POINT OF THIS POST. IS FOR ME TO FLAIL OVER HETALIA DVD RELEASES K?

SO. THE DVD COVERS ARE OUT FOR THE FIRST TWO DVDS. AND LOOK!

Since second DVD cover is Japan and UK, I thought the third would probably be America and another member of the Allied Forces.

Then I go check the FOURTH release. AND AND AND AND *_______________________________*

Yeah. I'm a little TOOOOOOO obsessed for my own good >.> [And I can't write Chinese in MSPaint for crap D=]

So, I've been behind with the F-list [someone please remind me to filter my communities and actual F-list DD=] and I log on today and I HAVE TO GO BACK MORE THAN MY JOURNAL ALLOWS? Oh god... ... ... *dies*

A mini-semi-hiatus [10 days max] for now since I've just realized I have EIGHT days to finish off an exchange fic for the lovely sheraccoon and I need to write at least another 10k [which is going to turn into 20k. Watch me orz]~

~~And then there is the little matter of assignments and projects but let's ignore that shall we?~~

Cosplay

First things first. With Supanova closing in with just over a month to go, Manifest [Melbourne Anime Festival] committee has just announced that this year's Manifest will be held at the Melbourne Show Grounds. They've also kicked the date forward to late August [21st, 22nd and 23rd with Amaranth be on Thursday the 20th to be exact]~ So yes. =DDD Less than six months to our major con this year Melbourne peeps! <3

Writing

Secondly, instead of concerntrating on my Hetalia kink meme prompts, I've succumbed to the Hetalia Valentine's Meme =3 And thus, I spent most of the night working on what turned out to be a retarded attempt at a High School AU fic with US/UK as the central pairing~ =3

I was encouraged to put it up at my fic journal [YES. I HAVE ONE \o/] by the lovely sheraccoon and I have done so. =3 I've also realized that it's been a YEAR since I've updated that journal =3 Fail is FAIL. OTL.

Ah well. If you've a hankering for shoddily written fic, you can find all ~~two~~ ~~three~~ four of my fics at corner_realm. Only one of which is Hetalia though xD;

I've also kinda updated my WIP! Of which there are currently two~ =D One for Reborn [yes, the one I've been rambling on and on and on about =3] and the other Hetalia one which is still sitting unfinished =3 So. Yeah.
