This post is for CATEGORY-SPECIFIC icon maker & community nominations. Series-specific nominations can be found here.
▌ Reply to the appropriate thread with the icon maker or community you want to nominate. Please put their username in the subject to make it easier, and include at least three examples of their work that specifically fits the category they're being nominated for. (Do not hotlink icons! Upload them to tinypic or another file hosting site.)
▌ Unless the category is community-based (ie. best icon community, etc.) please only nominate specific icon makers.
▌ Reply to the nomination comments seconding, thirding, fourthing, etc.
▌ This is still the preliminary round. Feel free to nominate and vote for as many makers/communities as you wish!

A couple things to note: for general categories like 'Best Overall' and 'Best Icon Community,' examples don't need to be provided. Please direct questions here.

Voting will end August 30th. Don't forget to pimp using the code found here!

This round works like the last. Only this time icon makers and communities are up for nominations.

A couple things to note: traditional categories such as 'best coloring,' etc., as well as less conventional categories are acceptable. Be creative! Throw an idea out there, perhaps you've always thought a particular category should be included that's never been used before. If others like your idea then it'll be included. Please direct questions here.

Voting will end August 5th or until at least 10 categories have the majority of votes.

Let's get things started. 8) For this round, category and series nominations are up for discussion. Once those are established then people can vote for the actual icon makers. Here's how things are going to work:

A couple things to note: all series must be anime or manga related. If a series is based off of a video game, it's acceptable as long as all images in the contest are from the anime or manga adaption. Mangaka and studio categories are not acceptable, only specific series! Try to avoid lesser known series if they only have one active icon maker in the fandom. Please direct questions here.
