So, livejournal. How's it going? I feel like I'm a bit rusty at this whole thing, but I'll give it a shot.
My life, as of late. I can't remember the last time I made a "proper" post here, so I'll just use bullet points for some exciting (and even not so exciting) things in my life in the past- oh, let's say two years? Three? Oh goodness.
- I have a nephew. A perfect little cuddly, squishy, round cheeked being who happens to be related to me. My sister Claire had a baby boy, Samuel James, 11 days ago (June 9th 2013) He is the loveliest, cutest little squishface in the whole world, and I love him so much already.
+ I'm moving to the Blue Mountains in a month or two? (Not sure just yet on exact dates, but it'll be in August, maybe?)
- I currently sort of hate my job? It's not terrible or hard, really, but I feel as if it's a fake version of my old job, which I mostly loved. (In 2011, the company I worked for went bankrupt and closed all their stores - Angus & Robertson, for all of you playing at home - and so I was unemployed for quite a while. One of my old employees opened up a discount bookstore - AllBooks4Less - in the same store-space, and so now I work for her.) It's just that it's kind of sad to work in a place that's super similar to my old job, but just- not as good? Eh.
+ I am super poor. Which is mostly my fault with the whole thing how I've forgotten how to save money? I swear I used to be good at it, and now it's like "Money? MUST SPEND ALL MONEY."
- In the process of moving and packing up, etc, I've been trying to cut down on how much junk I have. This is not going well.
