I finally made it.
My very own, shiny new Graphics Community forgottenplanet.

Took me quite some time to create the whole thing - finding a geeky name, then a fitting layout, tweaking it, coming up with a useful tag system, and finally posting the first entries.

For some time now, I'm very busy making icons, picspams and other fannish things for land comms and icontest communities, but I posted only a few of my creative endeavours here on my personal journal. Mostly because I didn't want to spam you clutter up my lj with it, but also because I prefer to keep these things separate.

From now on I will no longer post my creative stuff here, but on:

It would make me a happy "planeteer", if those of you who are interested in (my) icons, graphics, fanmixes, and whatnot, would friend the comm for updates and planetary explorations. ;D At the moment it's a bit Stargate Universe-centric, but that's gonna change. I have lots of things to post. Hope to see some of you over there! ♥

Just to let you know.. since yesterday I'm completely cut off from all email notifications! :((
There should have been more than a dozen, but I didn't receive a single one. I was so pissed off that I used the latest lj news entry to rant and at least the staff reacted and answered. They're having problems with the "pushpin" tracking-button, but the problem with this problem is, I'm not using that thingy. Ha Ha! *grumbles* So, no idea what's going on. Fortunately the inbox still works for me, so I changed my settings and am currently getting comments in there. Although I can't be certain that I'm receiving all of them.

Additionally my lj navigation bar is messed up.

Sir Peter Jackson was admitted to Wellington Hospital on Wednesday night with acute stomach pains. He subsequently underwent surgery for a perforated ulcer. Sir Peter is currently resting comfortably and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery. Sir Peter’s surgery is not expected to impact on his directing commitment to The Hobbit beyond a slight delay to the start of filming.

Oh gosh, no more bad news, please. My heart almost stopped beating when I read the headlines. I love that man and his movies. Thank goodness everything went well. Pheew.. But 'The Hobbit' really seems to be star-crossed.

Do you remember half a year ago, when Viggo has been knighted by the Danish Queen and became Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog? Well, ten days ago, on October 25th he finally received his badge at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen.

And here he is.. the proud Ridder af Dannebrog!


That hairstyle is so not knight-like.. *facepalm*

Currently Ridder Viggo is busy filming 'On the Road', where he plays the part of 'Old Bull Lee' (= author William S. Borroughs) in an adaption of Jack Kerouac's novel. Amy Adams *hmph* plays his wife, other cast members are Sam Riley, Kirsten Dunst and Kristen Stewart *blergh*.

And finally the first official pictures from A Dangerous Method have been released.
