    Even though a lot of the tech info in this book is super outdated, the fundamentals of design covered in here are timeless. Some things never change.

    Still relevant today as it was when I purchased back in 2001. Was taking a design course online as a refresher, and reading along with this. Proved invaluable.

    The examples and explanation alone are worth the price. DO NOT BUY his other books — this summarizes all 3.

    Kindle version is total garbage; doesn't have page numbers, diagrams and copied into it crooked, I hate you.

    The Kindle version is complete rubbish! Not only is it 45 dollars, but the diagrams are crooked, scanned in, cut n paste garbage!! It looks like this book was assembled by a 3rd grader!! And, its a textbook (frequently), and this god awful pile of junk does not use page numbers...IT USES COMPLETELY USELESS, UN-CITEABLE, NON REFERENCEABLE "LOCATIONS" FOR THE EBOOK!! Locations?? Really? Are you kidding me? What a huge waste of money this was.

    Crooked, copied diagrams in a book about design. $45 bucks. Never. Again.
