初めての自作PCのマザーボードとして、CPU第11世代のi7-11700を乗せて使っています。

購入直後11世代CPUに対応させるために、CPUがなくてもBIOS更新ができるQ-Flash Plusを使用しましたが、簡単な操作で初めてでも難なく更新することができました。

取り付けたパーツも安定して動作していますし、I/Oパネルも必要十分なポートが用意されています。

ゲームプレイ中もなんの支障もなく動作しており、安定性はばっちりだと思います。

デザインは控えめながらも各所にちりばめられた意匠やLEDがかっこいいですね。

m.2用のヒートシンクが2つ付属しているのもありがたいです。

WIMAコンデンサを積んでいるオンボードオーディオの音質にも非常に満足しています。

とても魅力的なマザーボードだと思います。

見た目も良いですし、品質も十分。

LED制御ソフトはUIが古臭い見た目ですがわかり易く操作も簡単です。他のGIGABYTE製品との接続性も十分確保されています。

GeForce GTX 1080 Tiを先に二つ購入していたので

そこから逆算して考えました。

快適です。

星一つ減らしたのは、上を望めば上があるからです。

予算との兼ね合いです。

特に問題があるわけではありません。

M.2のヒートシンクを固定するネジを取ったらネジ穴が欠けていたのと、使用3日でLANが反応しなくなりLANカードを買う羽目になりました。それ以外は普通です。

Delivery : On 17th August 2020.I would say the outer Amazon box did not contain any padding or waterproof cover.During this time Amazon is providing worst packaging,they did not even think twice of the heavy rainy season and the product they are delivering.

Product : The product was in perfect condition as I thought that heavy rains could have affected the packaging.It is brand new product with manufacturing date of July 2020.

Performance : As I tested this motherboard GIGABYTE Aorus Pro AX,there was not a single flaw that I could come up with.I tested it day and night for stability without overclocking my Intel Core i7-10700k.Everything works perfectly.This is my first Gigabyte motherboard, previously I owned an Asus X99 Deluxe 2,which was not a great choice.Gigabyte BIOS is superb and is very stable in contrast to my X99.Without OC I hit 4.80 GHz easy.My RAM has XMP 2.0 but I tested everything without OC.As for OC I need very good and new AIO liquid cooler because my CM Nepton 240M is already 5 Years old.The load time is 7.4 secs only.Motherboard is very durable and heat dissipation is good.But according to me X99 had better onboard Audio Chip.Even running Intel processor diagnostic tool,which generally is a preferred software for Intel processor health status software,the temps were almost to 70°C only.The capacitor quality is good.I did not like the SATA cables that came in the box with this motherboard.Also the Pin headers are reverse of what you can find on an ASUS board.RGB is not too much and not gimmicky like nowadays people look for in products.I think RGB in any PC component is "GARBAGE" addition.I am running a ASUS GTX 960 4GB OC GPU on this mobo.Games like - GTA V on High settings and V Sync(on) on 1080p,run at 60 FPS solid

Watchdogs 2 - High settings - Vsync(off) - 55 to 69 FPS

Sid Meiers Civilization 6 - High Settings - 60 FPS stable

CSGO on 1080p everything maxed out settings run - 180-200 FPS .(for CSGO I need a good GPU now LOL)

Verdict : I will definitely suggest this motherboard if you want to upgrade to Z490 platform.But if you want i9-10900k maybe buy AORUS MASTER,because the higher is your chip quality the higher quality mobo you want go buy for it.This AORUS PRO AX can handle any 10th gen chip great as well.It has got WiFi 6 too.There is no need to OC your chip unless you have a good electricity coverage in your area without any power outages.If on OC and power goes out,your PC suffers hard.

I've purchased 2 of these and returned both in 3 month period. Now using the updated version of it with Z590 chipset. So far is working well but if you're in Australia, you need to now that Gigabyte's support system is pretty poor and you're almost on your own for technical issues.

First board received damaged, Gigabyte declined support but Amazon accepted Return for replacement. Second device worked for 2 weeks then stopped booting due to faulty CPU socket. Gigabyte declined support again but helpfully Amazon accepted return under warranty.

My only reason to go with Gigabyte for a another round was because I have a Gigabyte Aorus themed PC.

Been a couple of weeks since I was finally was able to put my build together and its been a good ride so far with a small bump or two.

Firstly initial setup went fairly well, ram (16gb @3600) seated with out issues, cpu (i7 10700k) went in good although the chip slightly slipped in my fingers and i had to quickly save it; luckily none of the pins were damaged so a HUGE sigh of relief when it POST'ed. The m.2 heatsinks are hefty and have a good solid feel to them and i haven't had any of the issues others have had with the m.2 slots. Note; the very top uncovered m.2 slot is not functional and is reserved for when 11th gen cpu's with gen 4 m.2/PCIe support launch so people should be happy that the board has a gen 4 upgrade path without having to replace the board.

Once everything posted and after a bios update (q-flash was very handy) it came time to deal with the only real issue Ive had with the board. Trying to set up both m.2 nvme drives (SN750's) in RAID 0 is not straight forward at all and your gonna have to look up how to do it (involves enabling RST on both drives first in a menu separate from ez raid, then using ez raid) and gigabyte should try to streamline this process more since nvme's are becoming more mainstream now. Once that issue was solved everything else ran smoothly. The cpu was OC'd a bit and PCH temps rarely went over 55c even in hour long benchmark tests and i was able to get a rock steady 5.0ghz i7 10700k @1.28v (do plan on upping it to 5.1 so ill update this review once those results get in).

Other notes; the RGB on the board its self is minimal but that doesn't really bother me since i have a windowless fractal r6, on that same note i cant comment on gigabytes RGB software either since I don't care much for pretty lights. There are RGB strip headers on the board so you do have that option. Keep all of this in mind if RGB is important to you.

The built in WiFi receiver was a godsend when setting up windows due to the fact the the Ethernet plug is non-functional until you update the drivers (which you cant really do unless windows is installed first) so make sure you have a wifi connection or you will run into some issues and will have to dowload all drivers on a seperate computer/laptop and then install them on the new pc (if it is a fresh build of course).

Using the top covered m.2 slot disables SATA ports 4 & 5 but this is a chipset restriction if I'm not mistaken (who needs more than 4 ports anyway?).

I would comment if there were any issues with any of the PCIe x16 slots but I'm holding out for and RTX 30xx (or big navi if the rumors are true) so ill come back and update once i get my hands on a gpu.

Overall this is a great board if your looking for a minimalist look paired with ample enough features that make this a very competitive Z490 board, especially in the sub $300 range. I would highly recommend especially if RGB isn't your thing.
